This is a Yadan geological landform cluster area covering a core landscape area of about 30 square kilometers. When strong winds come, yellow sand fills the sky, and the strong winds stir and swirl among the rocks, whistling shrilly, like ghosts crying, which is really creepy, hence the name "Ghost City".世界魔鬼城是雅丹地質地形群聚區，核心景觀面積約30平方公里, 因該地處於風口, 四季多風, 每當大風到來, 黃沙漫天, 大風在群岩間激蕩回旋,淒厲呼嘯,如同鬼哭狼嚎, 令人毛骨悚然, 因此得名"魔鬼城"。
