Great review, I saw a video using everyday dish soap. He put some a toothpick and let it slip into the joints. But I’m sure you have to keep doing it. I used some message oil because that’s all I have until I saw using dish soap.

Actually the bootlegs have better proportions. The Mafex looks more cartoony…like exaggerated proportions…animated looking. But of course the original is better sculpted. It all is specific. Better quality. But again, The Mafex official is triple the price at least. So it’s trade off…

Soaking them in warm or hot water works well from my experience. I’ve tried sewing maching ordorless oil, and blow drying, but hot water seems to work best…

Rather than waiting for shinkocho seiho, just grab the figure rise standard or Blokees model kit. It's rare to see an english review for those kits

He isn't that small in the GT anime. He should be a little taller than any regular Vegeta figure. Trunks is older in GT than Future Trunks was in Z. The truth is that the GT line is in its own scale. GT SSJ4 Goku and Vegeta are as tall as any other Goku and Vegeta, and that isn't right. There are loads of scenes in GT showing them as taller. Bandai is simply making the GT line scale smaller to cut costs on a line that some may find less popular. Here is to hoping DF remakes these figures in the proper scale.

I want DF to make SSJ4 Vegeta, and make him a little taller too, like with the Goku. Bandai is making the GT line really small for some reason. I want them to do Trunks and Super 17 too. Kid Goku seems ok though, may be the time of Bandai making smaller characters a little bigger, actually worked out.

Nice review Storm Collectibles really make me feel some kind of way too. Like, I want Soul Calibur figures but they don't come out with enough of them in order for me to want one in that huge scale that doesn't match with any other figure.

My first 3rd party figure was DF martialist forever. I love that figure. So I’m looking forward on this one. I don’t have tamashii nation one but I’m going to sell it and keep this one.

Mine looks really coll but is mage from flimsy plasticm also the tendrils wouldn't connect properly so they were useless. Still, a cool looking fig

It might be the paint, or it’s just me, but I think Tamashi nailed the fur sculpt better, it looks deeper.

To me the reason why the df had looks less full is the neck is longer, for some reason 3.0 figures don't have a neck. I perfer the df and sold my orginal one as its lose and can't stand at all. It also looks a bit wierd because of the height.

Question: Do you know if there is any difference between the japan release thats out now vs the upcoming US release in January? Or are they both considered the same thing in the same packaging. I noticed both English & Japanese on the box.
