Paint Hose Cleaning HACK: The Solvent Saver
The Binks Solvent Saver is the solution to improved paint hose flushing. By introducing an air “chop” into the flush cycle of your paint fluid lines, you can efficiently ‘scrub’ the paint out of your hose, resulting in a significantly faster solvent-flush while using dramatically less solvent. Moreover, this process enhances the quality of the paint flush, leading to reduced unintentional color mixing, less labor, improved hose life, and substantially less solvent that needs to be disposed of or recycled. Discover how this innovative solution works!

Using a FilterLoc booth filter retention system inside your booth solves this problem by completely sealing the perimeter of your booth's exhaust opening so that all of the air must pass through y...

Can you turn the bell speed up on the gun
Nice video . Can you do one on how to properly ground a pressure pot or when one needs to consider grounding with conventional v. airless
Why our gema colour machine not spray properly..plz explain air pressure
Without further details, it's hard to say but we're glad to help if you call our office. If you're outside of the Pacific Northwest, you'll need to find your more-local service center, which you can locate here: www.gemapowdercoating.com/en/contact-us/local-distributors
Can you operate eletrostatis machine with a generator in a lift
Hi there. Yes a generator could easily be used to power the unit, you just need 15a 110v. If you're on a lift, typically not an issue if you're not too far off the ground where the feed system starts to struggle to move paint up-hill.
Cost please Australian
Hi there, Michael. We don't really do any work in Australia... you'd have to contact a more-local distributor similar to us for that sort of info. Apologies and good luck!
The coarser the better for paint booth filters. You want all air and dust to flow through easily without losing cfm and you just want to capture paint particles/overspray which a course filter works great for. The fine filters capture too much paint and get clogged quickly, dropping cfm and needing more frequent replacement
Thanks for your comment, though this sounds more like an EXHAUST filter issue rather than the intake filters (which don't typically have paint passing through). Unfortunately, by doing what you're saying and letting the fines through ultimately just loads the exhaust fans and ducting over time, making them inefficient, and depending on the coating or jurisdiction you can get fined for using a filter less than 98% efficient. The idea is to catch most of the paint and better filter construction CAN meet the load and efficiency demands. If your coating is dry and dusty when the paint hits the filters, then a finer front and heavier density poly back is typically used. If it is wet and sticky go with a courser front and less dense back poly for depth loading. The key is to get the proper filter to achieve 98%+ efficiency and best loading for longest life and way less exhaust-stack maintenance needs. Further, getting "high-cap" filters AND installing them properly can help to eliminate frequent changeouts. Further, making sure your spraying equipment is operating efficiently and not wasting paint prevents them from getting to the filters in the first place, of course. Let us know if we can help further!
thanks for the video, I leant somting new!!!
Any job for powder coating
Hi there. We are powder system installers, not powder coaters ourselves. You'd have to apply with manufacturers, which we can't help with unfortunately. Good luck!
Hi my system stops working don’t turn on anymore I call gema they don’t know what can be, any thoughts I am nc
There are a number of things it could be. If Gema couldn't help directly, you need to contact an authorized Gema repair center. If we aren't your distributor, can find one closer to you by using this link: www.gemapowdercoating.com/en/contact-us/local-distributors Good luck!
@@finishingtechnologies thank you
Is it possible for you to use your Facebook page to contact you? I have a Gemma machine and I work on it, but I lose control over it in some matters, for example, everything is fine and it only comes out with air and does not come out with powder.
Hi there. That could be a number of things, however we are Gema distributors in the Pacific Northwest only, so I'm happy to help if you're in our territory, otherwise I'm not sure I can help you. To find a distributor that serves your area, check here: www.gemapowdercoating.com/en/contact-us/local-distributors
How do u change it from box to hopper style
Great question! You can find the step-by-step instructions to change your OptiFlex Pro’s application on page 33-34 of the corresponding manual found here: www.gemapowdercoating.com/fileadmin/documents/User_Manuals/English/Equipment_and_Controls/Gun_Controls/OptiStar-CG21-en.pdf?hash=1715870895 Basically, after moving the powder pump from the box feeder to the top of your hopper, you’ll hold the lower left button on the controls screen for 5 seconds until the screen changes to display the P00 system parameters. Next, you’ll toggle the application to ‘0’ / ‘F’ for fluidized hopper. Hope this helps!

It depends on the model and the distributor, so contact your local distributor on this one. We serve the Pacific Northwest in the United States, other distributors can be located here: www.gemapowdercoating.com/en/contact-us/local-distributors

Hey, i dont know how to start the pcc Mode for my settings. You know how it works ?
Simon - Thank you for the question. To engage PCC mode, you'll need to create a custom program. To create a custom program, use the ‘< P >’ buttons on the lower right of the screen to toggle between programs P1 through P20. You can create up to 20 custom programs on this unit. The create a custom program with PCC mode, you'll need to set your microamp setting at 10 or below. Let us know if you have any more questions, and we’ll be happy to help. You can always call us at 503-222-9741
Whats the cost of the small machine OptiFlex Pro L??
Hi there! We cannot post the cost publicly due to Gema's distributor restrictions. Please send an email to info@finishing.tech and we'll be very glad to get back to you (NOTE: we are only able to sell Gema parts and equipment within our territory here in the Pacific NW).
Wish this was available in 110v option too
Hi, George. The system *is* 110v, there aren't any other options as far as we're aware.
Amazing
Very interesting, well plain
What size compressor does this pressure pot require
Hi there. It isn't really the pressure pot that will determine what size compressor you need, but rather the spray gun you're using. The pressure pot itself uses pressure-up to 15psi, which will move most fluids (get a pressure upgrade kit if you need more)-so really any compressor can handle the tank. So, again, depending on the type/style of air-spray gun you're using is the more relevant factor.
@@finishingtechnologiesso a 4GAL 2HP Twin Compressor would be enough?
@@Unseeable.. ...to run the tank by itself? Yes it would. If you're running both the pressure tank AND a spray gun (or much of anything else), no.
@@finishingtechnologies thank you for the feedback. I was thinking of going that route (use the compressor to power both the pot and the gun) but now don’t know what to do
@@Unseeable.. Yes, that compressor is unlikely to be large enough to run the spray gun. While it'll pressurize the pot, your gun will likely need much more air. Look for the "CFM" that your gun consumes (this is usually in the air-cap specs). You'll need a compressor that can put out at least that much, though we recommend *more* than it consumes so you're not running your compressor at its max constantly. Good luck!
Great Video! Thank you very much
Epic video on the Ransburg No.2 system, I hope people can appreciate how much work went into this production. Very factual and good quality video especially with the action shots, well done guys.
Thank you! Really appreciate the feedback.

i want to visit to your factory im powder coating painter
Hi, Muhammad: we aren't a "factory" here at FinTech. We're integrators/distributors located in Portland, OR. If you mean that you're interested in the GEMA factory, they're actually located in Switzerland and have a main distribution hub that is located in Indianapolis.

Gema is not owned by ITW any longer, actually. They're now just Gema, Inc. Some of the older equipment may still reflect the "ITW" monicker, as Gema was once owned by ITW but that is no longer the case.
