Hi I work from home and all I need for editing photos is cropping, leveling, lighten back ground and make the picture sharper looking. Gimp is way too much for what I need. What else is out there for editing please?

IGNORE the trolls... they're idiots. YOU have the most perfectly made videos of anyone I've ever seen on here EVER. YOu could actually put a lot of vidoes together in a course and make a fortune with it. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK and ignore the trolling fools- they['ve got nothing themselves and are just jealous of someone that DOES.

I used to let the trolls bug me. Now I just ignore them. I like your speaking pace and repetition of course is a good thing Also like the fact that you don't use annoying background music.

Just FYI, unfortunately, the version of the plug-in available in the official repository is quite old (version 2.9.4, while current one is 3.5.0). Well i can only speak for myself, there are times, when i need to hear something repeated or for someone to speak somewhat slower in order for me to process something. So thank you for your willingness to be helpful to others.

nice informative video LfS's, i'm kind of po'd now i didn't learn the GUI for ufw... i set up 2 DNS Servers (pi) and while researching UFW configurations for my DNS Servers i came to realize how powerful UFW really is, you can do some really cool stuff with it!! all of this of course (for me) was just to stay sharp, learn something new & challenge my self a little bit... it's really rewarding & gratifying when you learn new things (anyways) thanks for the quality content!!

Been watching a lot of your videos and love them, did have question. I have a Mint 22 box and a Windows box that I run servers. When I try to add another ip into the router for the port forwarding they already exist under the other ip. Do I need another router or switch

As a significantly more senior senior I find your tutorials really helpful - I just wish I could think as fast as you can talk! The 'K' key in youtube is my saviour. Anyway, over the years I have been using multiple PCs in my home network I have continually run into the issue of not being able to communicate between PCs (a mixture of Windows (now only Win 10) and multiple Linux distros). This tutorial has made a great difference already, but I wonder if you could give a wider view of how to setup secure file access and transfer between PCs on a home LAN - with special emphasis on avoiding making security blunders.

Man, thanks for this. I've never used Nemo as anything but a file explorer. It never occurred to me I could use it to connect to a server. I just tried it with the website I run on a hosting service - was always using Filezilla - and boom, I'm in. One tab my local website files, the other the server. Excellent.

Great video. One query - does the name used in the hosts entry have to match the actual hardware. I have some items of hardware that do not have a name - it would be nice if the hosts entry could function like an alias.
