This the third video that I’ve shared here operating within a “one track - one synth” framework. The latest installment is Arturia’s DX7 V. I really enjoy working with FM synthesis. It’s so much fun to see how just minor tweaks in the envelopes, levels & ratios drastically affect the sound. I programmed all the DX7 sounds myself except for the bass, which I tweaked from an Arturia preset.
I didn’t really set out with any sort of composition in mind in this case, but I was pretty happy to land on this funky, synthwavey, vaporwavey vibe. Hope you enjoy and would love to hear what you think!

Took a crack at one of my all time favorite jazz standards here. The Polybrute is doing the heavy lifting on keys (yes I patched the EP sound myself 🎹).
