Speeded up, 0.75x looks closer to the truth, don't do that with aviation videos. Otherwise great footage with sound off.

Out of curiosity, how do you get to do this? Is it necessary to be prior military? This is a plane I’ve always wanted to fly and right I’m gonna work towards getting into aerobatics
All you need is at least 3-400k and enough money for fuel and maintenance
This is super cool! The formation flying is sick. Are most L39 pilots prior military? I’ve always wanted to fly jets but can’t through the military but I’m gonna try to fly the L39 one day and hopefully even own one
Just curious but how come he wears an O2 mask?
1} G tolerance increases 1-1.5Gs from breathing oxygen. 2} part of the flight was at 12,000’ and cabin altitude was over 9,000’ (operational we wear a mask anytime cabin altitude above 8,000’ and pulling G’s)
@@goflythem2627 Ah ok, it looked super cool. How do you get to fly these without buying them? Was the pilot part of something like an aerobatic team? Also, let’s say somebody is below 9,000ft but is pulling G’s up to 2, would a mask be justifiable?

gladdens me to say i absolutely love the shape of my country's last attempt at a jet plane (i am pretty sure the engine has been replaced years ago)
The L-159s are pretty cool as well. The engine was actually changed to a proper military one on the L-39NG, but I think the L-39C and ZA still had the civilian engines.
@@MartusTube same as the engines in an Yak40. The L59 had the engine upgrade. The L159 has western engine.

It's ugly. The external fuel tanks on the tips of the wings are just too iconic. And when they're not there it's weird.

#777 and #38(Red) are both Reno air racers. #38 was grey and black camouflage in 2019.

Nice show! How high did the humpty bump/loops get to at the top?
cloud bases were at 6200ft that day. First Humpty I "slid" my belly along the bottom of the cloud to get a good measurement for the airboss. After that, I played around with that level for the top of vertical maneuvers. The minimum required for a very tight loop is 2500ft from entry pull altitude.

there are options for training and pilot operations. We do not participate in non-pilot operations.
Epic jet planes racing. Probably worth a million bucks each. Now spend the extra ten bucks to get a decent soundtrack loop?
