Thanks Paul, it was great to come along and chat tech and discuss a little more about Vivara, great studio!
Another green techno grifter!!🤑🤮💩😂
Ekranoplans have problems turning. Revisiting the same issues. They do have problems with certain sea states
Of great interest since saw the potential of ekranoplan technology several decades ago with the 'Caspian Sea Monster'. But why does he have to invent yet another name for this technology, PLEASE! More confusion can only hinder its useful adoption. Scrap 'seaglider', let's just call it the name its inventor gave it 'ekranoplan'. Shah Aslam, in the way of most technology champions, does over-hype his case. e.g. For helping out in areas stricken by cyclones they would be unable to operate and be next to useless, boats & helicopters would do much more suitable. The big problem with these has always been operating at high speeds so close to the surface. As stated, modern navionics (not avionics) would be of great help in alleviating this. But I cannot see it totally solving it. Radar has difficulty in seeing the mast and sails on anything but a large sailing yachts. Some of these are higher than 10m tall, but even the smaller ones would be smashed by the turbulence from an ekranoplan passing closely. I'm R&D, plus a lot of care, could solve this but it really does need to looked at very hard. Ekranoplans are not just watercraft. They are full amphibians and can navigate over fairly flat land just as easily. Thus they are not limited to waterfront stations. Also sandbars, small islands, rocks, even atolls will prove no barrier to their path. 10m is very optimistic for the smaller units. Operating height is very much a function of their size. I believe, but could be wrong, that the operating height is about half the wingspan. The Caspian Sea Monster would 'fly' at 10m but that was a huge craft. Weight does have some effect on this height but not as much as one may think, the span is the most significant factor by a long way. Shah failed to mention the efficiency of flying in ground effect. Whether you look upon it as a boat with zero water drag, or an aircraft with it lifting power multiplied by an air cushion, it takes several times less power than either. Both the big Russian craft (Caspian Sea Monster & Orlyanok) needed all engine power only for takeoff, one up they would shut off most of their engine. Thus they would only use about a third of the fuel needed as an aircraft. There is much more to say about this technology but this post is getting overlong for YT. Lots of kudos to Ocean Flyer for their attempt to bring this beautiful idea into safe, practical use. I really hope that they are successful.
Bravo to Paul and Stephen for delivering a compelling deep dive into the riveting world of tech showdowns and cosmic encounters - truly engaging storytelling!
Ai thanks for nothing
Great session, any mean to contact u & the team, to have ur opinion on the subject. Thanks & continue this great job.
Any opportunity to hear David talk should not be missed. Great listen 😊

In hungary at telekom 2000/1000 fibre cost around 25 bucks (9128Ft.)
What a scummy little gremlin
My ass here with 3 mbps
Perhaps in 20 years, I will have this!
600 MBPS just 25$ in Phillipines
Can you put some downloading huge file example and game play
how to get this internet
And I thought 500 Mbps in Romania is fast
my brother
Live 3020❤
Atleast 100mbs fibre im happy with it
I get fast fiber 600Mbps for only ~$20 in India😅.
wow
Noice In Romania it is actually cheaper:500 Mbps(maximum but still 250 mbps constantly)with only 5$ pet month
Wait till an Indian frys himself. Which happens every second. Speed doesn't beat redundancy
in australia they rip you of with internet plans and cost, the highest internet plan you can get for retail home internet is, 1000 download / 50 upload 1000/50 which cost around $170. They have a enterprise plan for business, but to me it's just bullshit australian marketing to rip people of, the enterprise plan is 1000/1000 which cost around $800 to $1,000 a month, can you imagine that, australia is so far behind from the rest of the world and love to rip of with dodgy prices.
it's australian fault for voting liberal party, malcolm turnbull, tony abbott, and foxtel monopoly rupert murdock, are to blame, and the root cause of the NBN australia crappy internet. I was lucky one to get FTTP in my area when Labor was in control of the NBN until liberal party sabotaged it, some houses in my area got the inferior FTTN.
bro i get 11.56 mbps lol
nah my country only supports 1gb but they are still planning to 10gb but it may cost 15k per month (this is just the price expectation but we never knew whats the actuall price)
in australia 1000/1000 speed cost over $1,000 but 1000/50 is $170
@@jglg7238 MBps? or Mbps
@@jglg7238 Internet provider name?
1 GBPS is still ludicrous
1 GB/s download !!!!!!👏
Paying for unnecessary bandwidth 🥴
And yet here in America, we're still trying to figure out how to get 400 Mbps over Cable to people without it costing like $200/month 💀
Why would any household need that bandwidth. Granted. Not that it shouldn't be cheaper, waaaaaaay cheaper. But yeah. People need their kids outside all day.
i've had gigabit fiber for 5yrs now (att). $90/mon
In my country we just received 400 mbps for 46 euros per month. You're being robbed there in democratic land.
we can't get more than 5mbit where i live (ADSL) or 100mbit if you stick to 4G
400 mbps in 12.99 euros per month@@xXSilentAgent47Xx
What Kayboard do u have??
Apenas um vídeo mostrando uma conexão 10 gigabits nada de conexão real
More like 8.3
newzealand the best internet over the world
They are #16 in the world with roughly 150Mbit for fixed broadband. It is still very good for its size and terrain <IMO>.
What can you even do with that really high speed tho, most sites can't even reach that fast.. would probably take like 100mbps then left untouch that 9.9GBps speed there.. not to mention if I want to watch videos online.. 300mbps already plenty enough to load video very smoothly while 10gbps just seems unnecessary for personal or home users.. except for office and business ofc

Most high speed internet in my contry is 150mbps💀
bruh same 91 here
Here in Brazil most high speed is 1GB
thnx
Nice one Paul
I have a question. I have 100mbps down 10mpbs up and I don’t know why I have inconsistent ping… like yeah my wifi really good.
for the most consistency connection, you will need to plug a ethernet cable, because the wifi connections have interferences through the "barriers" (glasses, walls, microwave, etc.). So plug in the ethernet cable and you will see the big difference.
@@RodrigoSantos-pf4ip that might be true. I'll test it right now thanks.
Unfortunately, it’s the same ping. It goes up like at 500 ping when I have 4 on no load.
@@notgeorge5697 100/10 sounds like cable internet. It is a shared resource, so when others are using it, it may be bogged down. Also, you really need to know what is going on in your own PC and your family. If anyone is maxing the upload or download you will get high ping. You should test the internet without any other activity than your own ping and see if you get a stable low value. You can use Pingplotter or traceroute (tracert) to see if there are spikes outside your own network.
Please come to Australia and save us from the NBN :-)
All 3 are not using Nokia - 2degrees are in bed with Ericsson for the upgrade from Huawai
2 years ago I had 3Mb down 1Mb up and now I have 110Mb up and down :)
I watch this video on 10 ms latency with 30 Mbps download/upload internet... the irony is.. it's freaking 2022 now.
I am at 125mbps up/down fiber.30 Mbps is still good unless you are downloading huge files.
Bro im using 7mbps with 20 ms latency💀
Also 1mbps upload💀
@@passionatebeast24 I manage with 10/10Mbit 4G right now, and actually it works if you are patient. It is enough for streaming a video, and that is what I would consider the absolute minimum demand for today's internet. But downloading a large game like Microsoft FS takes over 24 hours, so for me, it is a bit painful, even if it works. But I am getting fiber probably in a month, so then it will be far better days. 300/300 or 500/500 cost roughly 70/75€, and considering I live on an island 50km from the nearest city it is good pricing. In the future we will probably get open access for all ISP and then I get the price will be knocked down even more. In a few years, I bet 1 Gbit will not cost more than 300Mbit today. PS: I am at 63 degrees north in Norway.
👀 🄿🅁🄾🄼🄾🅂🄼
And here I am with inconsistent ping and less than 20Mbps down and barely 8Mbps up lmao
what 😂😂😂😂 wait fr bruh
Mb or MB? Usually it's mb or MB
Man Australia need to get this kinda of shit
𝔭𝔯𝔬𝔪𝔬𝔰𝔪 😁
Nothing impressive about this. Your network to your network? I bet you won’t get 10gbps and 1ms to any other network outside of yours.
What? Even from new zealand to australia its about 20ms. Also things like youtube and netflix store data locally so they can be streamed at full speed.
It is mostly for businesses with many employees. If you split up 10Gig and access a lot of stuff you sure will benefit.
I'm happy when i get 20Mbps
But the most important question is: What is this keyboard in the background!? It looks like a screen almost or even like CGI it's so fuzzy.
