The Original story is way better and consistent than the remakes. The remakes made unnecessary changes which is a disservice to the character’s personalities. Remakes are great game, but very weak plot and the story contradicts the established narrative.

The monster shown in the trailer is Bauk, it comes from Yugoslav mythology (Europe) .The monster is able to sense fear, manipulate the mind and paralyze fear, making the victim an easy target. Despite its heaviness and strength, it is also agile. It can use any surface to move. As for Lynx's school, already, I explain. Well, as we know Ciri in the saga as well as W3 wore the medallion of the Cat's school - I won't spoil why, but Ciri is an alumna of the Wolf's school. So from the combination of cat and wolf we have Lynx.

She's lovely but she's struggling to play as she wanna turn attention to every single comment in the chat. Which is taking her concentration away and she doesn't know what she's doing circling one street for an hour.

3:23 Yes she is a Witcher now. CDPR has already said that after the game awards. She successfully underwent the mutations and is an actual Witcher now. That said - after looking into the lore again I'm not so sure that the rule of "no girl suvives the mutations" is actually true and here's why. First, the mages who started the experiment took 38 children, 16 of them where girls. All of them died, but so did 17 of the 22 boys. After the Witchers didn't become what the mages wanted them to be (mutated and in addition as powerfull a spellcaster as an actual mage) most of the mages abandoned the experiment and the few that continued simply stopped using girls for their experiment. Which means that the sample size this "no girl survives" is based on is exactly 16 - a bit small to imply this is a universal rule. Secondly, the Trials of each Witcher school are different, with different and modified formulae used for the mutations. Here's the hook: It is established in the lore that the School of the Cat did in fact not only train human boys, they also trained elves and human girls. It is not mentioned if the girls underwent the Cat school mutations or not, but given that they where trained alongside the boys I'd say it is in fact possible that Cat school mutations are not as lethal to girls and female Cat Witchers might indeed be a thing. Here's another interesting point: Take a look at Ciri's medallion. She's wearing a Cat medallion, not a Wolf one. It doesn't look like the Lynx medallion CDPR announced a while bake either (at least not yet). This could mean that Ciri did underwent the Trials not using the Wolf formulae - she might have taken the Cat school trials. There is no such thing as Witcher Blood. As is established in the lore all Witchers are sterile - and that is by design and is true for all schools, Cat included. 5:31 And she uses Witcher signs: Quen when the beast attacks her, Aard when she's pinned to the wall, Igni to heat up the chain. As for the looks of Ciri - we don't really know yet how she will look in the game. Geralt also looked different in the trailers when compared to the game, not to mention that he looked very different from game to game - Witcher 1 Geralt looks entirely different from Witcher 3 Geralt. On top of that: She's older and she underwent the mutations - that alone is enough to explain her not looking the same as 21 year old Ciri in Witcher 3. No, Witcher 4 is not coming next year, the game just entered full production this year. Anything before 2027 would be a huge surprise. Doesn't mean that the next Witcher game to come out will take that long though - if the rumors are correct the Witcher 1 remake is the game that is furthest in development. A Witcher 2 remake is currently not in development. 12:55 FromSoft gave a bit more information about the game: It seems it is a roguelike multiplayer with a few touches of Battle Royales (the shrinking game zone) and survival (you have to survive three days to reach the final boss of the zone). It seems the zones will be randomized, there will be 8 characters to choose from with unique powers and ultimates and there will be a roguelike progression system when completing runs. It has been confirmed that the Game of Thrones game is indeed a mobile game. It will not come to console or PC. If you're interested in CRPGs there's a trailer from the Pre-event show you might want to check out as well: Solasta 2. In true CRPG fashion the gameplay is very similar to BG3 and Divinity Original Sin and like BG3 the game uses the rules of D&D 5e.

They just went into full production with W4, it's at LEAST 3 years away, probably 4. Also they hired a new VA because the one who did Ciri in W3 retired a few years after W3 released. I personally like the new actor in this trailer. Plus even if the original one did her voice again it'd still be different as she is in the early 50s now, not possible to be identical.

She is 3 times the size she used to be(complimentary). The trial of the grasses is a hell of a drug,clearly. I'm so excited for this

Nice reaction. There are some folks taking issue with Ciri fully becoming a witcher because women can't go thru the trials. I say nay, because her circumstances are different. Yes she has elder blood & she's also descended from the 1st witcher. That changes things. W3 set this all in motion. I think CDPR will give us backstory in game on what the timeframe is & what's happened since then.

CDPR confirmed Ciri has now gone through the trial of grasses. She's older now and has her old with powers from her earlier training with Yen. Probably has lost or reduced elder blood powers due to ending the white frost or from the trial of grasses. We'll see. Very exciting! I think this won't be out until 2027. Time for another run through Witcher 3.

Did someone mention the book lore? The games are a continuation of the books' story (after book 7). CDPR wrote all their games as sequels to the books, so they can expand the book lore. What happened to Ciri here - obviosly, she's a mutant now. She went through the Trial of the Grasses and now she has cat eyes and can drink potions. Probably she did it in a new witcher school (new medalion). Also I think she lost her Elder Blood powers because of this. But now she’s using magic. That thing you saw she did with water - that’s how magic worked in the books. You find a “magic place” and you draw power from it. This is another thing that CDPR bring up from book lore, which is awesome. Ciri did study magic with Yennefer as a child in the books.

A lot of people say she looks different which is understandable lol i mean we also last saw her on ps4s at like 360 p haha also she's grown up fighting monsters prolly ages you a bit.

Honestly I'm more excited to play as Ciri then to play as Geralt again. I love Geralt but it's nice to have something new and Ciri is my favourite character in the series, in Witcher 3 I was always loved the parts where you get to play as Ciri so to have an entire game with her is like a dream. Also according to the devs Ciri is starting her own Witcher school so she may have created her own version of the trial of grasses.

Nothing goes against the books lore as it's all in the future and it's yet to be written. I'm sure there will be good explanations for everything and Sapkowski himself is no stranger to changing Ciri. She already lost her elder blood powers once, learned "regular" earth bound magic from Yen, always wanted to undergo the witcher trials but Vesemir and Geralt forbade her. And remember, the conjunction of spheres brought magic and monsters and both are on a decline. That Ciri is overpowered is a simplification based on Witcher 3 times alone. She could have very well lost her powers fighting the white frost. Or magic in general becomes more and more dissipated and unstable for precise teleportation, making that power very dangerous to use. The groundwork for many very reasonable and valid explanations is already there in the lore. I'm not sure why people are surprised. Even in Witcher 3 in the end Ciri walks the path of a Witcher together with Geralt to learn all about the trait. If she would be so overpowered, why learn to fight monsters with silver at all, just dash through hordes of nekkers til they explode... yeah... not how it works. Im stoked to play as Ciri. A true Warrior, and unlike Geralt, not neutral. Ciri always had strong opinions making for powerful emotional choices rather than trying to brush every outcome off like GEralt with "Well, you never know what you gonna get, onwards!" after all Kids got eaten by the Crones 🙂
