My biggest struggle is someone else looking at me in the mirror.

I’m absolutely honest. It's a “flaw”that I notice a lot in others (especially because I look for it) because it belongs to me too. It’s noticeable only because you told me so and because I’m carefully looking for this asymmetry but even if I see it, it does not ruin your face, you are still very charming, attractive and beautiful. Completely and passionately honest.

I have same problem like you. The fact is people may not identity it easily. But when it comes to photographs, videos and in mirror its different. Then people will mock about your face. Bcz this is uncommon for everyone. They may ask whether you have swelling or do you get slap etc in one side of your face? It will reduce your confidence. Especially if you are a professional being recorded everyday. Then you will set your own limitations . iam a health professional and I rejected lot of opportunities just becouse of this. And guys, do you think if a person giving one side of her/his face for photographs and completely avoiding videographs, and mirroring with someone else in their entire life?I been went through all of these. Still continuing. I may not show my insecurity to infront of anyone but deep inside I always Insecured about my asymmetrical face and setting my own limitations. Girl I love your courage to do a video like this which i cant even think.❤

I broke my nose a few years back while boxing and it did not grow back even. I did not notice it in the mirror until i saw it on camera and it was hard the first few years but then i stopped wasting time on it

I chew one side I slept one side and my that side of face is like big then other so that's why now I'm sleeping straight chewing with the side with I didn't so the question is will that make my face normal?

I have a pretty asymmetrical face and was very insecure about it. But please don't be. No one judges like that. No one is gonna be like" Oh his face is crooked. Imma stay away from him".Its just not the case. Have a eye higher than other, one side chubbier, chin slightly askew to left of right is completely normal. Lifestyle is gonna have some minimal effect but you can't waste time being conscious about your every move. If you have severe facial asymmetry ( and by severe I mean literally deformed and not crookedness of face) you might wanna seek surgery because it may have functional consequences. Other than that leave it be.

Currently putting my nursing on a pause…I just had a baby but going back scares me. I have to go back for my last two years but leaving my baby scares me, on top of being stressed about all the clinicals I have to do that I’m not comfortable with. The only reason why I wanted to do nursing is to do L&D so like psych unit clinicals etc scare me. Anywaysss, I love makeup and skin care so I thought esthetician school will be great, plus it’s much shorter and I don’t have to commit to being in school full time if I don’t want to. Therefore I’ll have more time with my son…but I’m so conflicted what to do. Is it worth leaving nursing…idkkkk

Girl you have to watch some videos on RUclips related to the exercises for asymmetrical face’s…we can easily and naturally fix’s a lil inches of change after that…it’s up to your discipline to follow those exercises for a period of time may be like 2-3months or it can take 6months or more than that but may be it will work for you as I am also starting working on those exercises from today onwards…wish you will get better and make your asymmetrical face to be somewhat symmetrical

Late to the party, but THANK YOU for this! I don't often comment on videos, but I appreciated your message of acceptance so much I wanted you to know it just gained you another subscriber today! I wish I wasn't nearsighted for many reasons, but one of the main ones is having to wear glasses on my asymmetrical face (my ears aren't the exact same height). My glasses tend to be "ill-fitting" no matter what, but I hate when they look crooked! I sometimes get paranoid when my glasses won't sit "straight" and will push them to rest a certain way, often resulting in sore spots on my skin and headaches. :(

I am afraid to smile because when i smile my asymmetrical face can be noticed clearly . That's why i often avoid smiling or even if i smile i don't face people i smile looking down towards the ground.

Hi everyone! A little word of advice to those who suffers from their asymmetrical face. That's what i'm doing: Instead of avoiding looking at your face unmirrored and falling into this little depression every time you realise it's not as perfect lol - i decided to GET USED TO IT. So basically i look at my unmirrored face everyday. Take selfies, shoot videos, look at frontal camera and switching this mirror mode, not avoid videocalls with your face unmirrored etc. Yes at first it is not very comfortable, but in a few days (i do it for just for a couple of weeks) you are getting USED TO IT. It will take a little courage to accept that your face might be a little less perfect that you thougt =D , but it is really much easier to accept it now and get used to it rather than get dissapointed every time through your entire life. IMHO. I feel much more comfortable with my face now ! So i would recommend to consider it and give it a try! Cheers!
