I ve been there on a 12 days course "introduction to buddhism" in 2023.....i was in a really difficult place in my life....and this place helped me greatly.

Hi, yes, at least 4 years ago you could keep your camera and record, not sure if rules have changed since then. If you do that just be mindful and respectful of other participants and the monastery residents.

no, not at all. Usually taxi drivers know where Kopan is located and it didn't take too long to get there.

I'm looking to do 2 weeks of that kind of retreat then 2 weeks of trek photo etc.. in Nepal. Would you have some recommandation please ? Place, name, website to book? With Western compagnies and intermediaries, it looks like a 3000 dollars trip... ;(
