I don’t totally agree with leaving quietly…I feel better when I say my final words and then block them. Naw imma get the last word and then enjoy my peace after I got it off my chest. A final 1min text isnt draining no energy…it releases energy for me/ takes a load off. I’m not leaving quietly! I’mma release and move on!

Choose wisely ! Leaving quietly from someone that disrespects you is the thing you do almost always! However, there are times when it is necessary to voice your feelings as to not allow the toxicity to stay and fester in your soul, that can cause lasting negative affects to your inner peace and physical/mental health. Sometimes you got to say what’s on your mind and in your heart. Choose wisely.

❤ After just about 5 years very loyal dedication to a job including shutting down my own business, with the promise of at least discussing a possible partnership, and many many days of working until midnight and beyond, my position was eliminated and I received word of that through a text from my former employer. There are a million and one things that I could have said to him, but I did not. I didn't want him to get any fuel from expressing my dismay. The truth is, yelling at him or pointing out how wrong his actions are would only going to give him power. I have to consider the source. No way on earth would I stoop to his level. I just simply thanked him for the message and moved on. He is not worth any further reaction and I am far too busy building my own business now. What I have learned thus far in life is that we really do get what we give. He doesn't get to rent space in my head and he's not worth the time or energy. There is no need to be angry bitter or resentful or to wish him ill will. He already has to live with himself. 😂
