banner knights are strangly underpowered, to be beaten by 500 is baiscly just means you're a trash unit, compared to cost and time for training, its not worth the investment.

Don't look at one unit too much

Hello, I will try to make it complete. It is something that can be changed and improved with every matchup, but here are a few tips : You caster lord shouldn't have all spells equipped. Select one or two spells maximum to cast, you won't have the magic to cast everything. Moreover, you have to pick from the start what game plan you aim to have. In this matchup you have 2 game plans. Either you try to outshoot them, or you try to rush them. In this matchup, they have 2 game plans. They can try to outshoot you/kite you or snipe your lord. If you try to rush them, the horseman are really good at doing it : while your infantry advances, circle them with the horseman and hit them at the same time with everything. The timing is important and it will stress their micro a lot. You can win some games solely based off that. Some chariots can also be great. Although squishy to armor piercing arrows, if you micro them you can dodge. If you rush, the most important is your mobility. If you lose your cavalry you lose the game since they will try to kite you. Try to avoid nehekara warriors, they are super weak to arrows. Instead, pick shielded infantry. The harder for them to dispose of your infantry, the better. Also, the more infantry the better. If you have more infantry than them, they can squeeze through the gaps of their frontline if you do'nt stack 2 of your infantry on top of 1 of theirs. If you try to outshoot them, you have to go for at least some ushabti. They will have to snipe their cavalry which will be the big threat or kill the sisters of twilight :). Your archers are worse than theirs, but you could have more. make some space between the ushabti and your frontline so they can't fire at the ushabti easily. Take a lot of standard skeletons to hold the line and soak arrows. Try to make a real formation with your sketetons. You can watch Enticity's video on how to make formations. When you load up into the game you have to think for yourself : do I have to advance or do they have to advance ? The hardest part is to not have your lord get sniped, although it didn't happen in this game, but settra on its expensive chariot didn't bring much here. It could be better on a big sphinx as it can escape very easily and moves fast. Don't send him into the spears for too long though. You can go and mess with their archers if their spears are busy with your sketetons. Don't invest in too much single entities or costly entities (like the snake cavalry) against wood elves. They will try and snipe it. Something that most players don't understand : Do not overestimate your own micro. If you don't think you can micro everything, change your tactics and army composition accordingly. Your micro is a ressource and some units are more micro-consuming than others. I mentionned chariots. Some players pick 4 of them, but can micro only one. It is wasteful to pick 4 of them if you cannot micro them. Lastly, put your micro in things that matter, which cost a lot of money like your lord, or very important like your cavalry. It's perfectly fine to just send one attack order for all your infantry every minute if in return, you land a charge on the ennemy bakcline. Seeing your micro level, which will improve over time, but not right now, I estimate your micro ability to 2-3 groups of micro intensive units. In this game i counted 5 : 2 separate cavalry groups, your lord, 1 scorpion, the hero, the snakes. All of them have different targets and are hard to micro. You could have, for example, 2 separate cavalry/chariots groups, your lord, and a ton of infantry. That's a rough rush build and could have destroyed him this game with the correct timing. Another build could be 3 ushabti, a ton of infantry, your lord and some defensive cavalry (meaning you counter charge the cavalty when they try to charge your ushabti) You could consider arkhan the black as another lord, he's very useful with his skeleton invocation to mess up the archers if you land it on top of them. Some of your costly single entities got isolated first thing in the game and couldn't escape. Try to support them with infantry or cavalry easch time, they take a lot less damage. Also don't focus their lord with the cataput, it's not very effective. Later, when you'll master more the game, you'll have to recognize which units have to go against which units. For example, every sinle one of your single entities here has to keep its distances with all of their armor piercing spears. I hope it helps.

Too many different types of units, units that supposed to flank started in the open-thus giving info to opponent and making flank nearly impossible, using archer cav, no units that could go through elven frontline relaibly and wreck havoc on archers, not good lord pick vs elfs, bad range unit picks .
