Hi, thank you! ❤️ After your air dry clay piece is fully dry, you can paint over them! You might need to apply more layers of paint than you would with white air dry clay

Do you mean the glaze? I used sculpey gloss glaze after baking the miffy clay charm!

Question what happens if the smiski is boiled instead of urm. Oven?
I don’t think polymer clay will be able to fully cure if you boil it with water! It needs a stable temperature of 275F for the most popular clay brands. The clay packaging always recommends baking it in the oven!

Hi, thank you so much! 😊❤️ When I first started crafting with clay I only had a craft mat and a precision knife! I mainly used household items to shape the clay (like toothpicks, toothbrushes, etc.). If you want a nice clay tools set, Amazon, aliexpress and temu sell some good ones! I have purchased many tools over the years and my most used clay tools are my dotting tools with silicone tips on one of the sides! The silicone tips are great for shaping and merging polymer clay and air dry clay pieces. Acrylic stamp blocks are also frequently used when I want to make more detailed polymer clay pieces!

Hi, thank you! ❤️ Sanding paper will probably be the easiest and cheapest option but maybe if you have a nail drill/rotary tool it can also work! You can also skip the sanding process if you smooth out the clay really well with water before you leave it to dry!

hi, im using air dry clay so it may be different, but how do you get the clay to stick onto the keycap while working on it? With the air dry clay it likes to fall off while Im trying to shape it
Hi, air dry clay won’t stick to the keycap like polymer clay. Polymer clay works since it’s made of plastic and bonds to the keycap after baking. I think the only keycap designs that work with air dry clay would be to glue a finished clay piece to the top of the keycap

I use the eyepin pack by Cousin and they don't have the size on the packaging. Measuring it by hand it's around 1.5mm for the loop and 50mm for the length!

Yes if it's polymer clay (oven bake clay) or air dry clay!
These are so good! How did you bake them without them flattening? I've tried baking them on their backs and it becomes flat.
Thank you! 😊 If your clay is soft then they will have a flatter back than firmer clay! You can sand the surface after baking to smooth it out

Hi, thank you! Yes, Jovi is a great air dry clay brand! They don't sell Jovi in my arts stores so I've never tried it but I've seen lots of clay artists use it 😊

can i do this with air drying clay and will it have no difference? cs im planning to sell phone charms like this in my country 🥹🥹
I think you can achieve similar results with air dry clay! Air dry clay may be harder to work with than polymer clay since it dries quickly. It's also not waterproof so you need to coat it with varnish/ uv resin after painting!
