    Hi there! I'm currently scoring around 690 in math and considering focusing only on the hard questions in Khan Academy and the question bank, while skipping the medium and easy levels. I often make silly mistakes on straightforward questions, which is why my parents want me to do all levels of Khan Academy and QBank. However, with the SAT on August 24th, I need to focus more on Reading and Writing (620). I'm concerned that if I don't practice math regularly, my score could drop. I also remember you mentioned practicing topics I got wrong after taking Bluebook and real tests. What if I can't pinpoint the exact question type I struggled with? I’m aiming for a 750 in math and have less than a month left. Do you have any suggestions for balancing this and improving my Reading and Writing score too? Thanks so much! ❤

      Also, I'm a rising senior so times are tight and I don't want to take the October one since that's my final resort + I want to take my AP's. I want my final score to be 1450+.

    is the real test more difficult than the bluebook practice tests? especially math

    • @Alikhan_Torekhan
      @Alikhan_Torekhan 3 месяца назад

      Real practice tests are good for practicing typical medium and advanced-level SAT Math questions. Yes, they also include some challenging questions. I would not necessarily say that they are harder. They rather closely resemble them:) But if you mean questions at the end of the Hard Module...they were brought to you from the deepest hole of the hell and you won't see many questions that are harder than them or like them even in the previous real tests.

    • @inorin143
      @inorin143 3 месяца назад

      @@Alikhan_Torekhan i bet all those hard questions are geometry questions. But if I were to miss those hard questions can I still get a 700+? I’ve already mastered Desmos so I’m pretty confident I’d do good in August

    • @Alikhan_Torekhan
      @Alikhan_Torekhan 3 месяца назад

      @@inorin143 Honestly, it is not still clear how they score it. But based on my observations and results of my students, I can assume that you can get 700+ if you miss ONLY those few hard questions at the end of Hard Module. And they are mainly algebra questions🙃 Good job on abusing the Desmos! I am proud of you:)

      @@Alikhan_Torekhan thanks!! btw have u ever tried uworld? When I tried their free test questions, I was scared lol I wasn’t expecting the difficulty of their math questions. I had like a perfect score on their reading & writing but math was just meh. I’d say Uworld’s math difficulty is the same as Bluebook’s practice test 4 but slighty harder. Should I expect the real test to be like Uworld? Thanks again

    • @Alikhan_Torekhan
      @Alikhan_Torekhan 3 месяца назад

      @@inorin143 You are most welcome, darling! Unfortunately, I can't really tell that as I am not uworld user/customer. However, I will tell what worked for my student, who went from 400 to 780(i know sounds like scam lol, but i am dead serious). First, we mastered all the essential topics/formulas using Khan Academy and College Panda. We also mastered Desmos just like you did. Afterward, it was a matter of practice. By the time of her exam, she has solved 1)All bluebook tests 2)All 2023 Real tests(she said that some questions in the real exam were similar to those). It doesn't guarantee anything, but I still recommend them anyway. 3)Khan Academy advanced-level math questions 4)College Panda exercises 5)She also additionally solved Uworld's math problems(but she did that as an additional thing besides our lessons). I think she liked Uworld, so if you can, it may be worth trying. I don't usually recommend wasting time on third-party practice tests(like Princeton, Kaplan, Barron, and other free DSAT practice tests from random sites). May your efforts pay off, darling. You seem to be trying so hard!! ❤

    • @Alikhan_Torekhan
      @Alikhan_Torekhan 3 месяца назад

      Yes, you are right! Panda is quite an advanced book and problems there tend to be more challenging:) If you found it hard, I recommend the SAT Math Orange Book(it is much easier and more comprehensive). Explanations are more detailed there. However, I think the Orange book alone is insufficient to get 800(if that is your goal). At some point, you should move on to more challenging questions. But master the basics first:)) I am currently working on Skool community(basically like the reddit, but more advanced+free lessons+you will be able to post questions and get feedback). That is why I kinda disappeared lol

    All students taking the digital SAT should become familiar with Desmos, not just those trying to score above a 750. Also, while college panda is excellent, it is not updated for the digital SAT. For instance, imaginary numbers are no longer tested, and desmos hacks are essential.

      Aww, all the best for your upcoming SAT! ✊🙏 I will be waiting for an update on your great score!:) If you have been doing SAT practice tests, make sure to review your past mistakes. Also, consider starting the English section by completing writing(grammar) questions first(usually questions from 15 up to 27). You will 100% see questions related to punctuation, transitions, verbs, and student notes. So if you are struggling with any of these question types, master them on Khan Academy! As for math, I have good news and bad news. I will start with a bad one so that I can end my comment in a good mood:) Bad news: if you get to the end of the second hard module, you will probably see questions you have never seen before(not typical SAT question types). Good news: but since you are smart+my subscriber, you already know everything to solve them. Don't be afraid to use morally questionable "make up" or "plug in" strategies whenever you can. Also, keep in mind that these questions are not hard, but rather complex. They are just a combination of multiple basic topics(that you probably already know) and your job is to unfold them step by step.

But be careful as there are only 6 bluebook tests(currently) and you should not use them all at once(leave some for the future).
