Hi there. Thanks for taking the time to watch the video. 6:58 through to 7:12 show the scramble which I'd say looks much more intimidating from afar. Once you're on it, there isn't too much effort to get past it in summer conditions. It's a steep ascent with a path that winds but that means you're at the summit quicker. Hope it goes well for you 👍

It's such a wonderful viewpoint and a pleasant climb out of winter conditions ⛰️I hope you get the weather for your climb of both Munros 🌄 I like the idea of going via Ben Each as well. I'll be back to try this route for sure 👍 All the best. David.

We couldn't ask for better conditions on this climb. What a way to spend a Thursday afternoon with one of my close friends. Seeing Beinn Dorian from the roadside was intoxicating. Seeing the view from the summit absolutely made our day. Thanks for checking out the video 👍

@@kintyrehiker aye, it’s great for a winter climb, I haven’t done much of that so was a great experience. It was mobbed that day, mostly folk up from Glasgow, always nice sociable people, I’m from Aberdeen, all the best, Angus

I don't have any other pictures to share unfortunately. I tended to avoid using my phone and just enjoy the walk. This video was a one off. The loop around the park is ideal for an evening walk. A favourite of mine when I was in Maidstone.

Agreed. A day with good visibility around Crianlarich allows for some stunning views across the Southern Highlands and beyond ⛰️👍

Hi Kev. Being such a remote place I didn't meet a soul out there. It was so peaceful. The inneans bay is an absolute gem of a location. Well worth the long walk in and as you say ideal for a pitch overlooking those amazing sunsets. Let me know if you decide to head down this way 👍

Hi Steve. Roughly around 8 hours for me on this route. Took my time and enjoyed the views. You'd probably manage it in 7 hours going flat out.

Hi David. Thanks for the feedback. Really appreciate it. It took around 7 hours up and down. Fast ascent to Cruach Ardrain in the poor weather and then I chilled out and dropped the pace once it improved nearer Beinn Thulachean. Had to capture those views. A fantastic day walk all round and thoroughly recommended if you wish to approach from the West.

@@kintyrehikerThanks for getting back to me I plan to do the Cruach Ardrain before the weather gets bad I did the Beinn Tulaichean from the other side but was not feeling like Ardrain on the day the views are amazing I did Ben Chabhair last Thursday I came in from the North side missed out the climb from the Drovers was a bit boggy but not as bad as coming in from the drovers It took me 6 hours

@@davidmccormack5973 Very good. I'm still waiting to get up Beinn Chabhair and as you say, it's been difficult with the weather. I've got Ben More to do as well so I might combine them with a wild camp. Best of luck with Cruach Ardrain. Hope you get better views than I did.

Cracking video thanks for sharing.I was coming down from An Casteil/Beinn a' Chroin the other day and spoke to another walker who said he believed Cruach Ardrain has to be approached through the forest at crianlarich if I wanted to approach from the west,your video has shown me otherwise so glad I came across this,many thanks again!!

I'm not sure on the exact science behind it but when I was serving, we were always told to go across a river crossing with aggression and in full kit. Eventually the water would purge from the boot and your feet would start to heat whatever was left. I've not tried it any other way but if it's anything like how you've described, I certainly don't fancy it. Another trick to keep the feet dry is goretex socks. I think it was Seal Skins I used before and would recommend. Always worth having a pair tucked in the rucksack if you are going to be out for anything longer than a day.

It took me roughly 7 hours but I did spend a lot of time filming and just sitting at the top of Beinn Ime. I'd aim for around 6 hours walking at a good pace. FYI the car park card machine doesn't work sometimes so take cash. I hope you get a good day for it. Enjoy.
