The hipfire tip is really usefull, because bullets fly out of your character, not from the center of the screen, so whether aiming or not, zombies in your face means you can't really miss if your character is facing the threat point-blank.

Its crazy how bad optimized this game is, I have a highend PC and it literally doesnt matter on which setting I play, I can just play everything on ultra and get same FPS (around 100-115), best graphic results imo you get when u turn off upscaler, I see no FPS difference on my side and the game looks super smooth

The camera turn speed must be set on high/fast Fast turning fast aiming is very important

1 tip with the hip fire try wacking them twice first this will make most of the zombies around you stumble back. Once they do this run backwards and then hip fire. It helps on hard mode when health is vital for survival!

I average 205 FPS and max out at 270 on all Ultra settings, do you think i should sacrifice some image quality for FPS? I just like having the best looking game you know?

Heyo! great tips for beginners and i agree with most of them! for tip 2, i would suggest playing around with every class for a little bit to see which fits your playstyle before picking one. otherwise right on the mark! around 800 hours ingame, max level player here with a few extra things that might help: (aggregating a few others ive seen as single comment suggestions as well) 1: this is a zombie game, not a PVP shooter. you dont need to tactically strafe when shooting! all to often i see new players aggressivly strafing left to right during swarm attacks, as if the zombies will shoot back or something. not only are you more accurate when standing still, but your teammates will shoot you alot less if you stand still so they can aim around you. 1a: when moving try to pay attention to where your teammates are and dont run infront of them. the better ones will be shooting at head height, and the friendly fire damage can be BRUTAL. if you run infront of some one weilding a heavy machine gun for example, just a few bullets will be 50% of your health or more. 2: if you shoot the bottom of a zombie pyramid/stack, they will all fall down. this prevents them from climbing up to your level. 3: everyone has a silenced pistol by default, and once you level up guns they all get silencers eventually. even the funny ones like the ACW shooting 'silent' explosive rounds. if its not a swarm attack, try to use silenced weapons as its MUUCH easier to take out 10-15 idle zombies than 30+ agressive ones running at you. also a few of the maps have special stealth areas that strongly reward stealth gameplay. example is in new york, theres an area where your running across shipping containers with around 100 zombies below you all 'sleeping'. if you only use stealth that area is a breeze and takes 20 seconds to complete. but if you dont use stealth that can be a challenge and takes multiple minutes to clear. 4: kinda just general gaming ettiquite, but if you have a mic, please use it on push to talk! its great to talk to others ingame, but i dont want to hear your breathing and family talking in the backround. and sometimes said family are having rather personal discussions, and i'd wager they dont know they are being broadcast live to random people in the squad by their child. 5: as you get more and more into the game, you learn that classes all have a special heavy weapon they can get buffed, or have specific perks such as exterminators having a chance to deploy a defence kit without using it up. these are difficult to remember as theres multiple per class, and 8 classes, but if you can, leaving medkits for medics to pick up, defence kits for exterminators, supply bags for the support classes, and heavies for those classes that buff them is always nice. that said, a reasonable experinced player wont expect you to leave all MGL heavies for hellraisers because they get a buffed MGL, or all payload rifles for dronemasters, or to ping SMGs for medics to pickup first, etc. but if you do i know the players playing those classes will appreciate it. 5a: the classes with buffed heavies, example being gunslinger class and the machine gun heavy, only get the buff to the gun if it has never been picked up by another player. so carrying the gun for your teammate and dropping it for them wont help things. 6: to reiterate tip 5 more simply, leave medkits for medics to pickup and (if time allows) defence kits for exterminators. medics are more efficient with medkits, and exterminators can use a defence kit without using it up if they get lucky. but if you dont have unlimited time to setup defences then go ahead and set them up yourself. 7: the flamethrower and chainsaw are two heavy weapons that do not deal friendly fire damage. use this to your advantage, as if a teammate is swarmed the usual stratagy is to go in and melee a bunch. however, if you just spray with a flamethrower or chainsaw, you can kill far more and not worry about downing your teammate while your at it. 8: please dont go run hard challenge mode as a level 5. i see to many people who dont have a sence of what the game even is, running modes that are designed to be challenging for experianced players. if you dont know the objectives of the story mission already, or dont have a good grasp of the game mechanics yet, dont try to run extra difficulty challenge modes. 9: if you are running challenge mode, there are collectibles only available in challenge mode called 'documents'. lore sheets with a small perk if you gather the full set essentially, they are a common reason to run challenge mode. please dont speedrun challenge mode as often people are trying to find these documents, and they are difficult to find to say the least. 10: watch your backs, especially during swarm attacks. most swarm areas have alternate lines of attack, such as a small rear doorway or a break in the celing to your side, that special zombies will come through to mess you up while your focused on the swarm infront of you. keep these in mind, as a bull behind you can quickly ruin your day if your not listening or watching your motion detector. 11: stick with your team, even if they are being dumb. your stronger together in almost every scenario! 11a: if your in horde mode, where you are will determine the zombie spawns. this sounds obvious, but if a wave starts and your halfway across the map from your teammates zombies will spawn near you and not near them if your in the target area. this can mean that certain special zombies such as screamers (that summon extra zombies) or boosters (that make normal zombies much stronger) can spawn in hard to reach areas, making the wave much more difficult. 12: always have a heavy, even if its a chainsaw. and dont be afraid to use it! that 'special moment' your saving it for was 5 minutes ago, and using a 50cal payload rifle to dome a normal zombie is hilarous. (and you will find them VERY often depending on difficulty) 13: dont try to play multiplayer. its a mix of a PVP mode and PVE with zombies coming in waves. it exists as a mode, and is fun, but i would estimate the total playerbase to be 50 people GLOBALLY, and its almost entirely taken up by people who only play WWZ multiplayer and your only going to find a full lobby during peak american gaming hours. i wish it was different, but if i try to play at peak european or asain gaming hours, there is a grand total of 5 or less people queueing most times so its just not worth it. even during peak american gaming hours you are lucky if you find a full lobby. that said, if you arent on during american peak hours try chinese peak hours. its easily the highest demographic aside from americans that i saw on there when i regularly played multiplayer. and a few more advanced tips: if you see someone carrying a virus sample, try to protect them and watch them closely. if they get infected from the damaged sample, they must disinfect. if you see them getting attacked and pause to disinfect, try to defend them. their taking a risk to get the entire team better rewards at the end of the match. some guns have extra features/perks. such as the SMG getting incendiary rounds, or the special SMG getting a chance to heal the virus sample if your carrying it. these optional perks are unlocked in different ways, with lots being document related or 'extreme' difficulty completion related. keep these in mind as you progress in the game as being able to push nearby zombies back when you reload with the tier III shotgun is very useful for example. save autoturrets for the final stand area. often they arent needed in the earlier parts of the game where they're found. shoot bombers in the legs, or dont shoot them. if they are near a teammate let the teammate take care of them by tripping them instead of hurting your teammate by missing and hitting anywhere thats not the legs. if you hit the legs you have a high chance to trip a bomber, which allows you to melee it without blowing it up. this drops a good gun as a reward, as well as a virus sample. same for the infector. they are bullet sponges unless you trip them and melee them. hope these tips help in addition to what was said in the video!

anyone tried this and willing to share how its holding up at present? i just got back into the game and wanting to switch from AR dmg and health/armor over to mostly skill damage but hopefully with some armor and AR or LMG damage.

TAA litterlay saves you performance and looks a lot better than FXAA

Play Horde mode early on but do it online, even with a leavel 1 character you get lots of experience and level up very quickly

So how to play this with bots as i dont play online multiplayer any more fed up with lag and stuttering and mouse feeling laggey

Hey phantom, what is your xp level ingame?

I’ve had a glitch since the game come out where when I’m flying the small helicopter the blades look like they are not moving at all. Just bugged out. The large transport helicopter doesn’t do that for me. Is it like this for anyone else? Does anyone have a fix? On pc.

In the early days you leveled up pretty quickly from lvl1 to 10 with creating bandages, destroying bandages and repeat
