I live in Saskatchewan, 🇨🇦 The Prairies, CANADA.
My husband and I own 165 Acre Farm/Homestead.
I raise geese, ducks, chickens, turkeys & guinea foul.
Because I have birds I need to keep safe I also go out predator hunting, coyotes are really bad around us and cause major problems for me and my neighbours.
I also enjoy 3D printing, making candles and resin creations.
I am trying to post regularly but sometimes family life gets hectic.
Live life and have fun.
Coyote Hunting July 2022
Out hunting coyotes and found a place where they had 3 young pups right next to a farm. Farmer wanted them gone as they are calving cows and the coyotes are a big problem.

Double Down!! Coyote Hunting..

We watched this group the day before but we were over 400yds away so couldn't get a good shot. The next evening we went out to the same field but a better location about 200-250yds away. We hoped they hadn't moved and luck was on our side. The one dad shot came to cotton tail distress on the shockwave and was downed at 50yds, the one I shot was 187yds and we were just sat with no sounds. The tw...

Today I head out to a field near our farm with my new Tikka T3X Superlite 6.5 Creedmoor to try and shoot some more coyotes. We have so many around our farm and our neighbours that they are causing us all lots of trouble by killing our livestock. Hopefully I can lessen them a little. Todays Equipment. Coyote Hunting, They have been killing my birds so need to do something about it. My rifle is a Ruger 223, Scope is Vortex Crossfire 3-9 x 40 fitted with a Tactacam 5.0 with FTS mount. This coyote ran in really well, I started with Fawn Distress followed by some coyote pup 314 on my FoxPro Shockwave. got some great footage on my Tactacam 5.0 Thanks for Watching.
Coyote Hunting…. Deer spoilt our night.

Tonights coyote hunt didn't go to plan, 2 deer decided to chase the coyote away from us. Testing out the new Tactacam I recently purchased, still trying to get the settings sorted but not too bad for the 1st try.
Guinea Fowl Release Day.....

Now that winter is over its time to release the guinea fowl so they can free range all summer. I also walk around so you can catch up with some of my other birds. Still lots of work to be done with pens.
My New Hunting Shack/Cabin
Просмотров 1224 года назад
The Coyotes have been bad this year so I've had to take action. I have made an insulated hunting shack/cabin so no matter what the weather I can try and shoot a few to reduce their numbers and keep my birds safe. I've lost quite a few to them already and want to stop any further losses.
Update on my channel..... I am back!

Welcome back friends. I have decided its time to start and post video's once again. I had to take a break and refresh myself, I was finding it hard to juggle family life and make videos. I do this all alone so it can be a struggle to fit it in to my daily routine so I am making no promises as to how often I upload but I want to defiantly get back to making videos showing my adventures and daily...
Processing Day Has Arrived...
Просмотров 1974 года назад
Today with the help of some of my family I process turkeys and chickens. It took two days in total as once the plucking was complete I was on my own to finish the processing of my birds. Here is a little video of some of our day and my helpers. Thanks to my sons Luke & Mason, my daughter Becky and my mum.
It’s a dirty job but it’s got to be done!

After collecting all the eggs the next step is washing and boxing. This video is how I wash and care for the eating eggs. All equipment I use is washed and clean before I start. Thanks for watching. Hatching eggs are cared for very differently, maybe if there is interest I will made a video showing how I look after then ready for the incubator..
Eggs, Eggs & more Eggs....

Take a walk with my daughter & I as we collect our days eggs.... Lots of the ladies are still not laying but we still get a nice haul of eggs. Inside the coop is dark so the footage wasn't the best but I don't have and power so cannot have strong lights, I do have a few solar but they are not bright enough this time of day. And yes I talk like a crazy woman to my birds... I don’t care, they mak...

Not one of my usual video's but a job that I needed to get done. I got my licence and bought myself some rifles. These are used for protection against predators that could and do attack my birds. I have lost way to many birds to coyotes, raccoon and skunks are also a big problem. I do not capture and release as I don't want to move the problem animal to someone else property causing them lots o...

Are you still using this printer 7 years later?
Looks like a lot of guinea for that coop!
They look like fun! Betcha no ticks in that yard in a few days time.
ممتاز جدا بالتوفيق
Just close your eyes and imagine you're in an Amazon warehouse that badly needs grease for all the wheels.(I hope someone laughed😅)
I have a lot of them, I breed them
These guys are funny to watch very territorial too Theyre originally from Africa. So they know how to flee from perditors more so than chickens or ducks. 😊
Regards from down under. :)
Mini dinosaur zoo lol
Love your channel! So genuine, unaffected & simply real. I went thru all your videos just now & its all so wholesome:)) thank you!!!
Thank you so much for you support, I,hopefully will be back posting soon. Super busy getting a few things sorted and starting a new business.
Its a miracle that these birds are able to survive in the wild. They are literally shouting: COME AND EAT ME! :)
Where do I go to download the program to make designs and create print jobs?
I went to their website and downloaded the latest software.
Holy crap that's alot of guineas. Are their wings clipped?
No I don’t clip their wings, they can then escape predators.
@@kazbleasdale1310 thank you
I have found my chainsaw chaps to be a lifesaver (possibly literally) during egg collection in breeding season. My toulouse are all nice until then (except the father, he didn't get the breeding season was over memo and I had to *rehome* him). I really wouldn't mind a couple buffs in my flock. Especially since no it is just Mom, Son, and 2 Daughters. I hatched out Son myself, I hope he doesn't turn on my like his father (who I got already hatched out) did. They already seem more cuddly towards me than their parents ever did (though I got the parents as 3 day old goslings).
I’ve been wanting to get a label printer for my small business for the longest time and finally pulled the trigger. I’m glad I did ! This machine is great ruclips.net/user/postUgkxw55tQTywUAAOsbrlwxONZULry77sFF1Q and the blue/green color matches the rest of the accents in my office. My favorite part is how small the footprint is. It’s less than 1/4 the size of my regular printer.Set up was fairly easy. Seller will email you a link with video instructions Which I found to be more helpful than the written instructions. I use a Mac and had no issues. They even included an adaptor for USB to USB-c which is great because I’m always losing mine! I had a few issues getting the labels to print properly and wasted quite a few sheets. You need to play around with the settings to get everything adjusted just right. If you have the wrong settings, it’ll crop off the edges or feed through blank labels. These aren’t issues with the machine though, just user error.
Omg all that chaos and sound hahaha 10/10 😍
ho perso il cd di istallazione della stampante dove lo recupero???
Excellent documentary. Could you tell me that as a group in their coop with doors open at night (in my case) and a large orchard, will they be able to defend themselves at nights if a fox or a bobcat come by. Will they be able to fly on the trees, etc.? I don't want to confine them, yet do not want to lose them.
You could leave it open but with mine over 3/4 of them go inside in the evening and the others roost high in trees. I close the door to keep the ones inside safe. The others do well in the trees, owls are my biggest nightmare as they can get them from the trees and kill them. Once it’s night they don’t move so if a predator got in to the coop it would probably decimate them. They defend themselves well through a day but not so much at night. Hope this helps.
@@kazbleasdale1310 Thank you for the reply. I am receiving my 20 keets in mid July and your guidelines are helping me to arrange everything for them.
Do you find that you can't have any planters or flowers where they have access to? Do they rip them all out?
They eat everything or rip them out.
nice ramp
thanks for showing how to set up and use this Dymo 450!
You don’t need a lawn mower if you have Guinea Fowls ,
Brings back memories. Guinea Fowls
Glad I stumbled across your channel. This was so nice for me to see as I have a lot of wild guineas around my house in the city, believe it or not.
Thank you. Guineas are so funny and an amazing big eater.
Watching the kids was the best part😆👍
At the beginning of the video, were those guineafowls coming out?
Yes it’s my Guinea fowl who exit 1st
My, what a flock!
The 'pecking order' seems extra strong in newly released guinea fowl.
So many species and they don't even fight. I feel positive energy everywhere. A life I envy
Your Geese are Awesome
It's amazing how their fur color blends in so well to the environment. They coyotes we have I live have a more of a darker sage color to match the environment. Nice shooting!
Thank you
Love CHEECENT CR202 print server, it change DYMO 450 /550 to be a WiFi printer, our office comptuers can share it now.
This video is great! Learn a lot from it. Do you want to make DYMO LabelWriter 450 to be wireless by using Cheecent CR202 Print Server?
You are very helpful thanks.
Waww
Beautiful 😍
Wish you offered tours haha! Looks like you have spent a lot of time and research into this. I would love to learn more!
Love it beautiful
what's the software download link????
I don’t know I just googled it when I needed it. It depends what computer you are using to the download needed.
people say guinea fowl lay eggs all over the place. now I'm wondering how they multiply in the wild before humans domesticated them?
Mine have nests all over our farm, they eventually turn up with Keets or we find empty nests with 30+ eggs in them, i leave them until end of summer then remove the eggs. All the others still prefer to sleep in the coop at night. I leave it up to them what they do until the snow comes then they go inside for the winter where they are protected from the elements and predators.
@@kazbleasdale1310 Thanks for your reply. 🙏🏽👍🏾🔥❤️

Glad to see you and family! Juan Bowers family
Doesn't it fly away
No, they free range all summer and go in to their coop every night… totally their choice , sit on nests and hatch out their own keets and then when the snow starts they go back in their coop for the winter.
Hey! Do you have to train them to do that?
Yes they have to be trained. I usually leave them in a new home for at least 8 weeks. Once they know their home they usually go back to it.
That's some amazing shooting right there. Glad to see your still sending those coyotes a message to stay away.
