Some 16th note grooves
Just a little groove practice to a loop on my TD15KV. All drum sounds are coming from my laptop running BFD using the onboard soundcard with ASIO4ALL for almost no latency. As you can see I've got one of the tom pads mounted over to the left and I'm using it as a second snare. It is quite comfortable to play in this position.

Gearbox Rebuild Part 2
Просмотров 2,6 тыс.8 лет назад
RGV 250 VJ22 Gearbox Rebuild Part 2 of 2. In this video, I show you how to re-fit the repaired gearbox cassette back into the bike. Please note at around the 2 minute mark the text on screen says 'Make sure holes face upward.' This should be 'Make sure holes face DOWNWARD.' Sorry for the mistake!!
Suzuki RGV 250 VJ22 Gearbox Rebuild Part 1
Просмотров 4 тыс.8 лет назад
In this video I show you how to pull the Suzuki RGV 250 VJ22 gearbox apart to replace a worn gearbox output shaft. (A very common problem with these bikes) This is the first of 2 videos which shows how to remove and replace the output shaft in the gearbox cassette. The second video will show how to re-fit the cassette to the bike. Hope it may be of help to someone out there!
Rosanna Piano Cover with Drums
Просмотров 1,6 тыс.8 лет назад
I found the original Jeff Porcaro drum track for Rosanna on RUclips, and decided to play along to it! I watched some RUclips videos a while back, which taught me a Piano only arrangement, and this is my adaptation. Plenty of mistakes, and the video is pretty dodgy but I'm still learning both how to relax in front of the camera, and how to make videos.. Hope you like it!
RGV 250 Gearbox Tutorial

Needed to pull my RGV 250 gearbox out to replace the worn output shaft. Decided to make a video to show how it all works while it was out on the bench. Hope it helps you understand how a motorcycle constant mesh gearbox works!
Suzuki RGV 250 Power Valve Tutorial

Video showing how the newer type 3-blade Power Valves work on a VJ22.
Great vid thanks! I recently purchase a VJ22. How did you go with the Zeeltronic ??
Thanks so much for sharing. 😉👌🏻
On the gearbox oil feed pipe you say make sure the holes face upwards this is wrong they should face downwards and teh little hole on the end should point towards the Clutch
Question .. can you port match those power valves to be completely flush when fully open? Would it actually help flow more exhaust on full throttle therefor more power?
Nice video 👍👍👍. You made me understand about how does AETC work just in 6 minutes.
Nice video mate. Do you remember what socket size the nut was for the clutch basket? Gotta strip my spare engine but not sure if I have the correct size so would like to order it before 👍
Loose the drums! I can't hear you!
The bush on the gear that goes on first, is it necessary to line up the oil hole? Since the bush can rotate on the shaft?
Nice video.... For people that don’t really know much... Having owned and raced a 95 and 96 brand new (two bikes in my pit and home garage), which I had stripped down completely with my racing team manager, you are very close in what you say by trial and error. I could add more, but the main thing is for this now (prehistoric) bikes that are still miles ahead of any modern 250 or 400 cc 4 stroke. Hi he main thing is when you are at full revs, top speed, to be careful as any abrupt stop of fuel delivery means the same in lubrication. Meaning they will seize!! Trust me as I had the wrong sprockets in both of my bikes at all the world superbikes at PI in 96 and down Gardner straight hit top revs/speed before I was due and both seized! An expensive learning curve which cost me a night of zero sleep rebuilding basically 2 brand new bikes! 😜
Can you explain a bit more you hit top speed before you were supposed to what was the gearing too low can you elaborate thanks
@@herobo123456 It was on a race track so it doesn’t really apply in the real world. Philip Island (Australia) has a very long straight. If you hit the “rev limiter” before you should then the sprockets on your bike are incorrect. It doesn’t matter at all when riding as the factory sets it up to cover almost everything! Racing is a different story, especially with two-stroke engines. If you reach max rpm in top gear, with some track still in front of you before you sit up and roll of the throttle then you are also taking away the lubrication for a two-stroke and the engine can potentially seeze! Four- stroke engines are completely different. I hope this helps.
@@marcusgeorge1825 thanks Marcus Im lucky to own a 1996 and 2002 RS250 ! but only do a few track days on the 1996. I do know a bit but its interesting to hear from others
Thanks. Gives me confidence pulling mine apart. New rs owner here. Had quite a bit of experience with maintenance on my rsv and zundapp. But never had this sort of motor
Excellent clear video of a simple part on the RS250...but only simple if you paid attention when taking apart! Thank you for this video.
At 4.01 you talk about doing another video on pulley adjustment. Did you ever do this?
excellent
Great video.. Can you rember if there is any inward and outward pay on the drive sharft when it all together. Because I have about 1mm of play
I surpose you don't have a video of the cover off the splitter Box when doing the grey wire test?... I'm just wondering how much the power valve motor moves the oil pump cable
Great video..... I have seen other people do it slightly different where they remove the oil pum from other side and line it up with the gear..... But iv never done it that way it allways seems to line up in the slot somehow
Thanks for this Vid. I always wanted to know how a trans works!
nice workshop, that yr washouse lol! cheers for the helpful vid!!
I got the gearbox output shaft from www.thetuningworks.co.uk check them out. Also the forums at www.rgv250.co.uk
Hi! Nice video man! where did you get the parts from? I'm about to start a 1988 RGV rebuild. Thanks
nice bike and thanks for going to the trouble . i pick my first rgv up next week and it happens to be a t also
legend cheers mate
LEGEND THANKS MAN... IM DOING THIS THIS WEEKEND I HAVE WATCHED ALL YOUR VIDEOS AND IT HAS INSTALLED CONFIDENTS. GOOD WORK MATE.
Nice work, must be a big Schwantz fan, looks good
been struggling finding info about my RG125F ones, the manual is terrible. Two separate sections on it but neither go into the detail that the mystery third section does which I found in the...yes that's right..ENGINE REMOUNTING section LMAO. I too had an odd one in mine, how bizarre is that, who does this shit? You will be losing considerable power from them being uneven I'm pretty sure, along with them not being blended to the port when fully open as well...
Did u adjust them thoe?, because im trying it on mine but im unshure abouth it (not to screw up something, sorry for bad english)
good vid
Thank you!
Cheers for the video, it makes it a lot clearer than the workshop manual.
good job
Nice RGV videos. Thanks.
Good Video. Sort of understand it slightly better now. Only slightly though.
Nice video mate. I check mine every 6 months just to be sure. Love the bike.
awesome video
