Does this drone at all? The Rennlist listing looked like it had a helmholtz chamber welded in but was curious if that's enough to curb it. Trying to see if Advanced Innovation is still in business or whether a local shop can fab me one similar.
Its drones from 2500-3000 (pretty bad) rpm i think, especially when paired with catless headers, so if you cant tolerate that, i wouldnt suggest that setup. PSE with 200 cell is probably what most people go to!
@@Radioactive981 appreciate it. I was initially leaning catless with PSE until I saw your setup, but I might have to get creative to avoid droning, or just revert to plan A.
@@colejordan8520 Yes, its all defend on your preference. In my case i want my car to get as close to the 911 mid engine rsr 2017-2019 , that was my goal. I think i was 1500 rpm short 🤣, but as far as the sound id say its as close as you can get to that car that isnt a 911!

Fabspeed was truly in their bag when they made their 981 headers. Every car with them sounds like a gt3.

Just bought a 981 Cayman GTS, best decision of my life.
I also need one but can’t decide between the 981 GTS or the 718 4.0 GTS. The price difference makes me look at the 981 but I like the look of the 718. Conundrums 😂

Sounds great man! Suggestion.. Have a shot where the car is going from far away and past the camera AT full speed. All of these the car is slowing down approaching the camera and you can't really get the full effect. You get a partial one, but from a dig. If that opening clip was WOT while going past the camera, that would've been perfect, but I see the corner there, so maybe go down the road a bit more? Just a suggestion :)
Noted, we'll also try to find a better spot, maybe with more trees in a straight line.

Glad this video helps. Alot of people says the 981 generation lacks in power and i completely agree. But what it lacks, gives you more flexibility when it comes into modification and with the right set up, it could sound insane! The secondary market is going down too, so goodluck finding the right spec.👌
@@Radioactive981to give you background, if you seen any videos on my page, i’ve had a Supra and Mercedes C 43 AMG. Did a full stage two on my Mercedes and it was pretty damn quick off the line. What would you gauge it on? How much power it lacks between those cars? Does the car feel quick even after all those mods?
@@tristanvlogs6165 The Cayman S/GTS without engine modification (i.e boring the cylinder)can probably max out at 385-405hp give or take. My car feel fast enough but its not made for a drag race lol. Where it shines is at the twisty canyon road or a short race track. Smoking the tire did an extensive review about the cayman , you should check it out. For me the Cayman is a fun, nimble well balance car made for the twisty mountains road and honestly it is alot of car for the money! Porsche created a very special platform with the mid chasis cayman.
