Dokumentar om Tvinds Lærergruppe (2000) (in Danish)
2000 Danish documentary about a political and non-religious cult called Tvind. We're working on English subtitles for this programme.
Tvind originated in Denmark circa 1970. For decades it has operated under the guise of teaching, and helping the Third World. But behind the façade is an extreme political movement, financed by an unsuspecting public via individual donations of cash and clothing collected on the streets of European and American cities.
Tvind is also accused of taking millions of donated dollars from government, corporate and philanthropic sources around the globe, and passing the funds into its own secret offshore accounts.

Mogens Amdi Petersen, founder and leader of an alleged cult called the Tvind Teachers Group, is wanted by the Judicial authority of his native Denmark for serious financial crimes. Since August 2013, Petersen and four of his top aides have been listed on the Interpol website's 'Red Notices' database. Petersen and some of his aides are now known to be hiding in Mexico (not in Zimbabwe, as previo...

Meget typisk for socialister og kommunister at påstå at ville hjælpe fattige, mens de selv i stedet rager til sig.

I was once management in this organization and was at both IICD Michigan and IICD Mass., which has now changed it's name to One World Center...because of all of the negative world wide press. It is run just the same in Michigan, Mass., and was also in California before that closed. These schools are worldwide...and the last I knew the leaders...that were still getting rich...were living in South America somewhere where they could escape punishment from other countries. You just have to know that EVERY person in the "Teacher's Group" has been through a program as a student and have been brainwashed into working non-stop, often in disorganized ways with NO training in any kind of business management, etc. EVERY one of them, then has to go to Denmark for a couple of weeks to then join the Teachers Group, at which time they meet leaders of this group from all over the world that REALLY BELIEVE they are changing the world for the better. It is THEN, that they are also convinced to GIVE away most of the income they have been promised...right back into the organization. The promise is that the ENTIRE group of leaders, which will now also include YOU, will be able to vote on where this collected money will then be spent...again...to keep doing good works world wide. It is ONLY those VERY high up in the TVIND organization that oversees all of these "schools"...that is actually getting rich. I, personally, met Danish students that had been used to fill a very large mansion type home in Denmark with very expensive furniture...for free...where one of these main leaders lived. I swear, the teachers and the Head Masters of the U.S. schools, at least, live JUST LIKE THE STUDENTS...with very little income personally. They live in the same dorms, and the only difference is that they now have much more responsibility, THEIR own room (students do not) and they get to own a car (also students are not supposed to have their own cars at the schools).

The last I knew you had to pay over $5,000...to VOLUNTEER for one year, mini mum. Then, you have to go begging on the streets 12 hrs a day, at times...wasting gas money driving all over the country to different cities every time...and are expected to RAISE ANOTHER $ 3,000 for the org.

I spoke to students that returned to the school, having been put up in some kind of apartments, many miles away from where they were supposed to be volunteering, and told that they would just let them know if they were ever needed for something. They found signs on their doors and inside of the apartments from previous volunteers from other schools saying, "The people do not want us here nor do they even seem to need anything we have to offer. What they need is money." Basically, they either could not even afford the elements that were needed to create any sustainability project that might help them...or the volunteers had nothing new to show them, and no one IN those villages were communicated with BEFORE volunteers were to arrive....to make sure they were trained in what the village really needed help with. Everyone trained first as students to just be as busy as you can be all of the time...with no plan of self care or in the organization of anything...all stressed out, all the time, giving their income away...up the ladder, convinced that it is going towards making all of these 3rd world villages better. But, with working LITERALLY 50-60 + hours a week, with no organizational skills, no self care, no patience with each other...these "schools" can be an absolutely miserable and toxic place to be...to live, actually, as this is what ALL are expected to do, Head Masters, teachers and students alike. It is really awfully sad that the cycle continues the same way, over and over again, producing work-aholics who end up treating each other very badly. My personal experience with the U.S. IICD, now One World Centers spans over 16 yrs. and I was privy to all of the inner workings.

This woman Karin Eversgaard in this video was running the DRH Bogense site. It was terrible. They actually sent a group out to Angola who were attacked by rebel soldiers. Even some local project works were killed infront of the volunteers. The volunteers had to make their own way home from Africa without support feom Tvind. The idea that some people find the course worthwhile is false. Members may continue their studies or work elsewhere but despite Tvind, not helped by it.

Especially baby and kid's clothing should be affordable. Same with shoes and warm coats. It gets cold here, and so many ppl don't have decent winter wear.

Thanks Martin. If I may translate that to English: One could easily get smacked on the head if one didn't behave at their schools. I was a student at [Tvind's] small school* Lakolk on [the Danish island] Rømø from 1997 to 1999. @TvindAlert 3 года назад

@Wally & Tony, thank you so much for your continuing interest and patience. I'm _still_ working on the subtitles project, which has seen delays over the last year, at first due to me being depressed and distracted over the 'global madness', and trying to research what's actually happening. Then, by summer, I felt better and wanted to continue the project. But in early July, a Danish newspaper reported that Tvind's leader, Mogens Amdi Petersen, had been filmed while shopping in Mexico. It took 5 weeks for me and my translator in Copenhagen to translate the article series. Then a few more weeks to write a summary, adding much content from TvindAlert's archives. The result, if you're interested, was this article, posted on August 27: tinyurl.com/y43tojan Anyway, I've since made a lot of progress with the subtitles, and I hope to complete that project some time this month, or perhaps February. - Wade Larsen, editor, TvindAlert.com

    • @TvindAlert

Yes, Amdi Petersen is in Mexico, actually. This otherwise informative video was posted in 2012, when we at TvindAlert believed Petersen could likely be hiding in the African nation of Zimbabwe, where he had forged close ties with that country's leader, Robert Mugabe. But Petersen seems to have foreseen years ago that Mugabe's decades-long grip on power would eventually end - which did in fact happen recently. So Petersen decided on Mexico as the location to build Tvind's swank new international headquarters. TvindAlert and some Danish media outlets had over the last few years received information that Petersen was living most of the time at 'TG Pacifico', on Mexico's Baja coast. This was finally confirmed in 2016, when Danish journalists photographed Petersen walking around the Mexican compound.

I ve seen his compound in Baja Mex with my own eyes. It is visible from a lesser known wave I surf in that region. You pass the entrance to his compound on the dirt road to the point. Armed guards. Compound must be worth millions upon millions of dollars. It is quite a sight to behold in the other wise barren desert surroundings. Apparently Mexico and Denmark do not have an extrication deal.

This Petersen fellow sounds like a real piece of work. How can anyone defend someone proven to be laundering money, tax evasion, fraud, etc. when he's supposed to be running a non-profit charity and living life like the ultra rich? It's jackasses like him that we need to catch and convict to send a loud, clear message to other jerks like him not to perpetrate such massive fraud on those who are charitable in nature. Shame on you AMDI PETERSEN and your BS cult organization, TVIND!! Interpol needs to catch up with you and put a bullet in your brain, scumbag!

Is there any humanitarian organization to be trusted? I liked so much the Drh Norway projects (www.drh-norway.org/) when I first saw them. Then I decided to read a little more about the organization before applying. I've been reading about them for 3 hours now (that;s how I got here). They're part of this Tvind. Ex-volunteers say they were exploited and lied to. They said they were made to work even 14 hours a day, without any safety at work assured. I've read also that the clothes volunteers were collecting were not donated to the poor, but sold in eastern Europe. I've seen so many negative opinions, actually the only positive ones belonged to the promoters of the program. I've also read that when they arrive to Africa they don't do much as there are no funds(allegedly).

Well, 'Tvind Denmark', if what we are saying is a 'fabrication', then so is the Danish government's case against Amdi Petersen and his Teachers Group. You might want to contact Denmark's Public Prosecutor for Serious Economic Crime and set them straight as well. Before you do, though, you should perhaps read their case summary, linked below. Be prepared to address all those inconvenient facts contained therein. Good luck. www.tvindalert.com/wp-content/uploads/Danish-police-extradition-paper-exhibit-C.pdf

+MrSwarmin100 Probably, because he has to prove himself innocent.. I don´t know.. I just know that i whent to one of his schools, and they were awesome.. They har accusing him for hidding money, what i think is that he spend all the money on the students. We were the first schools-chain in Denmark were all the students had computer and this is in 1997.. Some politicians had a big "buthurt" and they put up a campaign against him.
