Dying light 2 has more safe houses

The worst part of the second location, besides the few UV lights outside, is that it’s in the top floor or a NOT cleared out building. At any time zombies can breach the door into it from the rest of the building which is pure dark. Honestly any of them with non-secured doors to deeper into buildings is a bad idea. Maybe there’s a UV light on the other side? I doubt it. Will probably edit this to mention other ones with issues. Am at 4:18 so far- 17:54 was pretty decent, not sure how boarded up is is from lower floors. The fact there’s UV light coming in from the windows is a good sign. I’d have definitely put one inside tho. I kinda like the one at 22:29, tbh. The entire outside is secured with UV lights and I think the only access to lower floors is the elevator. Definitely more secure than a few other choices. At 31:45 it shows one of those odd lighting choices the game has. When light from other sources seem to light a room they aren’t in. I think it should be darker than is shown. At 44:45 or so you said it got a high score because in theory you COULD close the gate even if you couldn’t in game. That makes rulings on non-closing doors in other situations a little silly. Still a nice place. 49:14 I’m pretty sure the bed is on the tower, but the bag is at the base of the tower in the shack… a little dumb, but it should still count. I think there’s one on the bridge if you climb inside it… but I’d have to download the game again… aaaaaaa. But my favorite “safe house” isn’t even a real safe house. It’s one of the buildings near the market… the one you need to jump over 3 streetlights to get into from the roof. The bottom floor starts locked and infected don’t seem to be able to enter it. Even if it’s not technically safe… it’s safe.

Pretty sure there would be light switches to turn off the lights if it were real life lol

You do realize in real life scenarios you can just turn off those lights right?

The safe house near the sea with the radio tower has the bed up in the tower some two stories high. The bedroll is covered with a half-tent so it doesn't rain on you. Theres also carpets on there and a chair and binoculars (i think) so you can admire the view. All very nice except you'll be cold if you dont have the right clothing.

you forgot the tower on floor 19. You have your own bedroom in an appartment where other people sleep. Very dim light and 100% protected. It's just the best and super cozy

I love this video. Any game that has safe houses I always tend to overthink and wonder which one would be the most safe or the one Id like to stay in the most and I feel like this game did a good job of making most of them feel secure. After playing the second one I had a major issue how a lot of the safe house didnt work in a realistic sense. They would function how they would for the game but a lot of them would have tons of places that could be accessed by zombies and had little to no protection besides the invisible boundaries that the game sets up.

Lol been playing this game since it's been out still going back now and then. I always thought I would be the only one concerned on the safe houses being livable and comfortable enough. Nice vid!
