I had some growing in pots that grew to be about 2 feet tall, but I took some sprouts out of the pots and transplanted them into the ground and, as you'd expect it seems to be thriving, except all it's stems are sprawled out on the ground like a a vine with nothing to climb on. It has many stems from the one sprout and it's blooming like crazy. the stems seem to try to reach up at the end where the flower is. Has anyone ever seen this behavior?

I grew morning glories inside it actually went ok however they went from the window to the walls and my moon glory has had a bud for over a month and still no flowers.

I collected the seeds, some were grey, and some were brown. I planted both, none came up. I just planted more brown seeds thinking that the grey colored seeds are not viable, what do you think?

you said plant 3 inches apart, looks like you planted 5 inches apart. Also I thought they could be grown and be a prennial zones 4-10, you said bring indoors even zone 8. I believe I am a tad confused!

I have planted creeping thyme seeds in the manner suggested...nada, nothing. I tried germinating them indoors first, hardening them off, and transplanting as seedlings...nope. The seedlings promptly croak. I do not know the magic rule for growing creeping thyme from seed.

Like another commenter, I’ve used this method and have very little success rate in germinating nasturtiums - and perhaps I should add that I don’t seem to have a problem germinating any other flower/vegetable seeds, so was hoping to learn something new. I’ve tried soaking, scarifying, soaking AND scarifying, but again with little success. So, I was hoping to learn something about why my germination rates are so poor with these seeds, but this video made it sound like they’re easy to germinate, which has not been my experience.

Will pinching off healthy blooms encourage more? My nasties seem to only get one or two flowers every season
