Thanks for the forecast! Could you help me with something unrelated: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?

Thanks so much for this! I'd ran into problems when following the official installation guide but this video was perfect - so easy to follow and so well-explained! I've now got Adapt working locally!
Hey! I'm glad you found this useful and can now start experimenting with Adapt.
I really enjoyed this webinar! Cara is super legit. Quoting Dr Allen was amazing!
Tom, brilliant as usual 😉
Glad you enjoyed it
I was about to jump all over this statement. PHEW!!!
You guys are funny. Why haven't I seen these before???
Heidi only recently joined me to bring the I’d update back, so I’m glad it’s coming together well.
Super valid point. I'm sure that message may have stung a few people in the room... good.
Hi, is the slide deck available somewhere? 😊
Master class in online delivery. Thank you :)
Really interesting topic! Made me think absolutely. And I have missed your drawings😁🤗
So glad you enjoyed it Linda!
i'm on Ted's team :D this looks super nice and looking forward to try it out! liked and subscribed ;)
Super valuable video, thank you! Liked and subscribed! I'm sharing and discussing with my team.
Thanks for your feedback, I'm glad this had some value for you. Let me know if there's anything you would like to see in future videos.
Congratulations, Tom! Great energy, and it’s fantastic to see you back! 🤩 I’m interested in learning about new tools for instructional design, as it’s been tricky to keep up with all the developments. (I’ve drifted in a slightly different direction workwise🙂)
Preach!! Xxx
Today my Blinkist app showed I was in the top 1% of users in August (the prior month). I haven't even listened to it the past few days. Other people are paying $70ish for a yearly subscription and not using it?
Does get getabstract allow you to listen speeded up? I do Blinkist right now. I've listened to about a 1000 summaries. I think they have 7000 and they gave a free second account that I gave to my brother. I also like that there's some music in the narration sometimes and they also have famous books through history. Maybe if I finish the 7000ish books on Blinkist I'll consider getabstract.
Yes indeed Get Abstract offers speed control. I tend to use it more the papers and journals.
Thank you
This is awesome
Thanks for leaving a comment :)
hi, what do u think of the Gamification of Learning and Instruction Fieldbook: Ideas into Practice book?
Not big on the topic in all honesty. I've seen actual games have an impact, btu the gamification of business related content has always fallen short in my experience. The book itself is eprfectly well written, just not something I would recommend time be spent on.
I needed this video… thank you for the reassurance. I’m currently a trainer for a company and former teacher. I studied learning theories extensively in two separate programs - credential and masters. Saw my company just opened an ID role and I met all the qualifications on paper, but they want someone who has advanced experience using articulate. I shared I was learning it in my own time and have experience using related software in my masters (captivate). I hope I can find a role in a company that will train in articulate with the background I can bring to an ID role.
You will totally get organisations that think this way, but to my mind, it;s a red flag that they don;t want an ID, they want a developer. Same thing with the hyperfixation on portfolios over the last few years. Should you ahve one, yes, will i hire someone based off it, no. Just like CVs before them, they are not an accurate measure of potential. (Slightly different if you're freelance, but still.) Gld the video landed with you, let me know if there's anything i can help with.
It says, "This package is no longer supported." In the command prompt while downloading Grunt. What to do?
do you have a tutorial for importing/exporting xliff files in Adapt?
why I don't have export course option in my adopt? I have a creator access.
As a new ID currently facing issues with SMEs, I think this video is soooo helpful. Thank you so much for sharing all the valuable insights.
Glad you found this helpful, more on the way in the omcing weeks!
I'd like to quote some of those statistics. Do you have the courses please?

The human brain often underestimates future commitments and time requirements, leading us to believe we have more time than we actually do. Her ar some tips from my personal experience (with Canada country manager ) for Key Steps for Planning and Implementing an Annual Corporate Training Plan: 1. Calculate Annual Metrics with the key people. (the P&L Managers): - Total days in a year: 365 - Subtract weekends, public holidays, vacation, and estimated sick days to get real working days. 2. Calculate and agree forecasted Real Training Days: - maybe 68 to 90 days available for training.(AT BEST) 3. Plan and Negotiate with Client: - Use these calculations to propose and finalize the annual training plan with your clients. Detect seasonality to prioritise order fo delivery of topics. - Include Plan B for delays to ensure smooth implementation. Doing this this, you establish yourself as a trusted partner, ensuring that training plans are realistic and achievable.
TM "..we need to express the value we add" , Pirate.."Yes a million percent!!" Classic!! 🏅
Some great ideas here. Well done! However, how does this work with accessibility? Without the headers in some of those sections, it will present issues with screen readers.
Great tutorial indeed but i had a problem while installing the production : npm install --production npm WARN config production Use `--omit=dev` instead. npm WARN EBADENGINE Unsupported engine { npm WARN EBADENGINE package: 'adapt_authoring@0.11.3', npm WARN EBADENGINE required: { node: '16 || 18' }, npm WARN EBADENGINE current: { node: 'v20.13.1', npm: '10.5.2' } npm WARN EBADENGINE } [#########.........] | idealTree: timing idealTree Completed in 567ms It progresses until the mid and then stopped halfway. I was waiting for almost an hour but still same. I've restarted the system, re-run the production install but in vein. Anybody know what went wrong?
I would suggest sharing this with the adapt tech support forum. Someone there will be able to help better than me.
Amazing... requires a lot of coding skills though... but always amazing @Chris Hodgson
Fantastic work. This is the first time I am learning about ADAPT and I understood everything so clearly. Thank you so much.
Glad it was helpful!
"You worthless piece of shit.." -Space King
Really useful summary of the issues and well paced. Cheers!
Thanks for your feedback, I'm glad this was helpful.
Thank you! You saved me tons of research time.
Thanks for watching! Always happy to discuss anything about this.
That last line is great. Technology changes and your value shouldn’t be tied to a single piece of tech! Very true.
glad it resonated with you
THAT REALLY GRINDS MY GEARS
Could you tell me, do captions have to play by default or is it ok as long as they are available?
I have always operated on the available and easy to activate. This then shifts to become a UI consideration. Another great solution is to make sure they if the user activated CCs on one video, all other videos have them on automatically.
Hadn't seen this 'til someone pointed me to it (explaining why they want to link); great advice! Very pragmatic, and yes, understanding basics is more important than any particular tool. Not least because the tools are oriented towards approaches that are more 'easy' than 'right', having that background will allow you to use the tools to do the 'right' thing. Appreciate the mention, too.
Thanks Clark, having folks like you in the industry makes a huge difference.
Hi Chris... two questions come to mind. 1. Where is the website that documents available APIs? This is a 8:45 ... url? (Having trouble seeing it in the video.) 2. Should we consider cross domain issues... I am wondering if there are firewalls to take into account and if there is a data blockage, what should I tell exactly to my IT department to white list it and that it is safe to use?
I take it that the APIs you presented are browser-centric vs an external API like GSAP?
Oh I see the urls in the chat replay. Splendid.
Amazing stuff! Your passion makes it even more awesome!
This is fun, though I'm sorry I missed the live session! For the time management challenge (before I hear your suggestions!): - For me, it really helped to connect with my team-mates on our one-to-one and figure out why they were facing issues in the first place. In most cases it wasn't because of a personality trait but because of overwhelm and overload, so we had to work on delegating projects, tasks, and making space for them to breathe. - In some cases, it helped to explore techniques to help them focused, such as timeboxing, and setting up a trial period to check back on. - For quality issues, we looked at strengths and areas of improvement, and typically quality issues happened when one team member was trying to help others to alleviate their load, instead of focusing on their own tasks. - Training can sometimes take too much time (external trainings can be hours-long!) and it becomes counter-productive. I'll post this comments and add more for the next challenges.
Incredible software! The learning world will finally be able to put out good content and not just a few text pieces and flip cards! I will be using Kwantic in my work for sure!
Thumbs down
Would love to hear your thoughts on podcasting and the areas you disagree with.
0 stars and no sub from me for a ten minute ad. Why the hell do you need to make a whole video an ad.
Appreciate your feedback, I always try and find the right balance when getting folks on to the channel, but I don't always get it right.
