d-t-b is the channel of the Solatrike-Project and the Music of d-t-b. Join me on my travel with my solar powered recumbent pedelec trike (Solatrike) as you were right with me on the trip. Enjoy Time lapse and cultural movies on the various stops of my trip.

Another blues about unrequited love. I heard the song: "Fever" by Eddie Cooley and John Davenport, played by Rita Moreno in the Muppet Show. I wanted to write something similar, that's why the finger snipping. The song had more influences by Sleepy Ray or Julian Lehmann, just to name a few. Well, you'll see who was the inspiration for the drums: Animal by the Muppets!

Some of those single lane highways near Edmonton are extremely busy with narrow, if any, shoulders. Good to know you made it safely. Let us know when you head out in spring, maybe we can organize a group ride to escort you South to start your next journey.
@@eBikersDen that's why I stopped in Leduc to avoid the big City. I don't know the exact date of my start. I haven't even bought the flight. It'll be at the beginning of May and first I need to do some repairs as well.

Well, it's not all down hill. That's only in theory, but there are some hills in the way. I don't know how it will be in the other direction. I just came this way and have no intention to go back.
Im first comment! Yay. I like that road but there is a huge section that parallels the native reserve with no shoulder. I live in cochrane but that roads really dangerous.
@@johngorman7729 yes, sometimes it was scary. Luckily, the flags on the trailer and trike produce enough attention, not to mention the big trailer itself. Would be scarier only with a race bike.

Thanks Jon! It was a challenge indeed. The weather was miserable, but I was surprised, that whithin 2 hours the battery was charged again even though. This summer I was running 100% solar because my charger couldn't handle 110V.

I had the pleasure of meeting Nick on Lamma Island about a week ago. He's a great guy, full of wit and wild stories (that might just be true). His collection of used books is impressive, everything you might imagine. I bought a book by Truman Capote and another by Woody Allen, among others. His prices are shockingly low and I plan to see Nick again in a few months to return the books and buy more.
