To Praga z zeszłego roku! Praga to jedno z najpiękniejszych miast w Europie ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Yes it is to both! We love Prague!
@ Me too♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
From Nebraska to Eastern Europe... quite the stretch!! Wonderful seeing all these traditional European Christmas markets, where are you off to next? Do you plan to visit the Chicago Christmas market? I've heard some really good things, it's quite a bit more expensive than the European markets I hear, but it's supposed to be very diverse and enjoyable. Happy travels!
Hahah it’s definitely a stretch! We live half our lives in the USA and half exploring Europe ! We won’t be able to get to Chicago as we’re currently in Tromso, Norway and will be in Europe until Christmas! Will have to add it to the bucket list though!
Is this video recent? Ive read that the Christmas markets are opening on the 30th of November.
@@ovidiucristache315 last year!
Has it snowed in Prague yet?
This was last year and we’re not from Prague so we don’t know. Sorry!
Is this from 2023? I thought the market isn't open until the end of November?
Yep! Last year
I HATE salt water taffy (personally) but I am almost all-in on this. GL growing your channel. Let's go!!!!!!
THANK YOU! We are brand new (only 2 months) and figuring it all out and this comment truly made our day!!!
I've seen dozens of these and this vid is legit -- excellent video and content and the peeps are likebable. I'm in. Well done.
Thank you SO much!! It's one of our first ever videos, so waking up to this comment made us so happy! :)
Planning in Dec start, are there any Turkish restaurants?
I am not sure as we always seek out local and traditional food when we travel! Having said that, we have seen Turkish restaurants in every European city we've been!
Pierwsza zasada w Polsce przy stole nie siedzisz w czapce!!!! To brak szacunku dla Polaków!!!!!!!!!!

I am sorry! We are not Polish and did not know this rule...But we do for next time! So, thanks for letting us know!
@@CultureCravingCouple But Poles are not angry, they just know right away, you don't even have to say anything, that you are foreigners or!!! you are the only nation living in Poland who practice this - Poles know who I'm talking about
Planning by end of nov, how is the weather.? Any food must try..?
That is when we visited last year and it was nice weather. Very cold and a little snow and VERY icy though. Everyone was slipping so good shoes is a must. Of course, we can’t promise good weather! For food and everything else - we have a whole Prague Christmas market guide linked in the video description or find it here: culturecravingcouple.com/prague-christmas-market/ hope that helps!
We have a hope you enjoy in our town !!
Thank you! We’ve been in both winter and summer and love it so much!
Excellent vidéo thank you for the sharing 👍 👍
Thanks so much! We appreciate that!
Hello how are you nice vlog 😊
Thanks so much!! We appreciate it
Trdelnik/Chimney cakes are NOT Czech, only tourists eat them. And no, don't bring cash, use your card. Most Czechs don't use cash. I literally have the same 100 Kč bill in my wallet for 3 months The ham vendors are a total scam, btw. The smoke covers up the fact they use really, really poor quality meat. They're not having their license renewed by the city though, so they won't be there next year.
Thanks for sharing about the chimney cake. The credit card thing was definitely not our experience - cash was much better for us. But sometimes experiences are different :). I do think its important to remember - the cash tip is just for Christmas markets. Yes - cards work great every other time of year! At least for us. Good to know about the ham!
@@CultureCravingCouple A fun one about exchanging Euros - At Prague airport, the exchange rate at the exchange offices is really, so you actually find yourself with more money left over after buying a burger at the airport McDonald's when you use Euros and get your change in Crowns
@@techfixukoh that is fun! Thanks for the insider tip 🍔
Wow SUPER NICE 🎉😢😢😢😢🎉🎉🎉
@@S-series1977 thank you!
I swear there something so magical about Christmas in Eastern Europe. I don’t know if it’s due to how old Europe is and the beauty of the architecture (specifically in places like Prague, St. Petersburg, Paris, Strasbourg) during the holidays but Christmas in Eastern Europe makes that part of the world seem and look so magical, and almost fairytale like. When I think of Christmas I actually think of the architecture in St.Petersburg Russia mainly the Winter Palace because the pictures of it during the holidays and the beauty of it in general. It gives off like I said that magical, fairytale, but almost royalty vibe of Christmas (the royalty vibe makes sense considering that the palace was once the home of the Romanov family.)
@@tiamarrow6366 we totally agree!! Our fav markets are Eastern Europe and we will be exploring more this year which we’re pumped about. Also the Baltic countries which we think will be super magical and festive too!
haha when saying polish words, pronounce most letters as if they are italian. especially the vowels. that will get you pretty far
also y does not make an "eye" sound, but sounds like "i" in "it"
also, ż and rz make the same sound - the "ge" in "garage"
THANK YOU for all this help. We fee like we're saying it all wrong ('cause we are LOL) so this is so helpful and we appreciate the time to help us!! :)
@@CultureCravingCouple Don't stress, I haven't heard of a foreigner who could handle the pronunciation of Polish words, unless he was learning the language and even then a Pole would be able to tell it was a foreigner from the accent.
@ thanks! We try our best but it’s a very hard language for us!
It was very nice vlog keep it up i love it
Thank you! We just got this as we were eating dinner and it made us so happy!! 🎉
when was this filmed???
@@HillmontGardens last Christmas!
Very beatiful Prague and very beatiful Czech republic.☺☺
Yes! One of the prettiest countries we’ve been to!
Greetings from Aarhus, Denmark 🇩🇰 some visitor's videos are a bit alike - Nyhavn, smørrebrød, Danish pastries, canaltrip. Good thing here, is that you show how the Danish weather can be. Very wet and windy. Could be great, if you e.g. went a bit further away from Copenhagen. E.g. to Roskilde or Elsinore. Or maybe even a less wellknown town. Denmark is more than Central Copenhagen and many will argue, that that is where you get the real picture of this country.
@@aarhusnord oh thank you! That means so much! The weather was crazy when we were there. We will be back next month as well! :) but only for a very short time. we would love to be able to explore more - it just always comes down to how much time we have! We definitely will get outside Copenhagen at some point!
@@CultureCravingCouple You're welcome. If back in Copenhagen next month, you could consider some less visited attractions. North of the city, e.g. the Bakken amusement park, which has a replica of the fictional town of Korsbæk, known from the epic Danish TV-drama "Matador". The TV-drama was filmed around 1978-81 and covers the period between 1929 and 1947. Or the Louisiana modern art Museum. On at the airport Island of Amager perhaps visit Dragør. Maybe a museum in Copenhagen itself, such as the Police history museum? Or the "Davids Samling" museum? National Museum? Expect some wind and rain in autumn, so have some indoor alternatives, if you can't be outside.
@@aarhusnord yes! This video was taken last autumn so we know what to expect weather wise. It can be a little crazy! Thank you so much for the local recs! We will check them out for sure!
@@CultureCravingCouple If you want popular culture and modern Danish history, I believe the "Korsbæk på Bakken"/"Matador" visit could be interesting. Requires a bit of research into the TV-series itself, but the whole setup shows how popular this 45 years old series is in Denmark. Observe the opening hours and days, maybe you can still catch it. Last openingday seems to be 20th of October. Otherwise, it has to be on your next visit.
@@aarhusnord perfect!! Thank you!! 🙏
We are visiting Copenhagen next week is the Christmas Market already set, I mean was this video 5 days ago?
Nope this was last year! It starts on Nov 17th this year :)
