How can you become a top moving company !? It starts with great branding and management.
This is a brake down of our custom built $9,000 internal database system we use on all our move jobs.
I couldn’t live life without it! It’s like a free receptionist. It notifies your movers when orders are assigned to them via text / email and clients when orders are en route and arrived and you as the admin.
Movers can upload BOLs “ finished paperwork “ when done and charge clients all through the database.
Clients have their own backend to with a custom log in via texted to them once they fill out a order form.
This is all web based too so it works on all phones no need to download any app!

We moved Joel and Kyle into their dream home in Minneapolis! It was cold and windy that day. Joel's and Kyle's warm hospitality with pizza and subway catering really helped. Moving the organ and the entire house including guest house was fun all in the same day using 7 guys to get the job done.

Old Doug is right. Whats up with that? The part thats hard to figure out is how to get the legs off and you dont show it. Video is not useful. Would also be nice if you showed how to put it back on its legs when you get it to its destination.

I miss moving furniture man especially when I see that hump strap laying in the crate or just building tiers that come out right and it was the shit if the shipper wants the unload in the garage and ya don't have too do the old where's this go how about this all day the summer heat really challenges you too
or when the customer is so clueless and asks you where you think a heavy ass piece should go. I would joke around "this dresser looks great right here in the foyer!"

Learn how to do DOT inspections yourself. It's not that complicated and you're able to keep on the truck throughout the year and keep your truck from being put out of service by DOT. You'll still have to take it in for it's annual inspection but you'll know that it's going to pass if you've been inspecting it throughout the year. You should be doing a good post trip inspection every day that includes more than just thumping tires and checking lights.

Let the customer have what he or she wants. If he or she wants your shirt off just take your shirt off. Don't question. I work in Philadelphia. I take off my shirt for pretty much every job I do whether it's moving, painting, cleaning or yard work. I think these movers are great and they're going beyond what any other mover would do by showing a little more muscle, sweat & skin.
