ngl the only primarily electronic track in the game so far has been chaos island act 1 if anything people think kingdom valley sounds good because it retains the core identity of the song, rather than being turned into a full blown rave song space colony ark act 1 is primarily rock with jun rerecording final rush with some occasional EDM elements, something sonic generations did as jun worked on the OST for that game as well rail canyon, while electronic, uses instruments not unlike the ones actually heard in heroes i get yall personally dont like electronic music in sonic now but its not just "EDM", its several genres they utilize that just so happen to use electronic instruments, and i think the OST sounds great so far, chaos island act 1 sounds aggressive but idk i dig the vibe, it sounds like they cyberspace'd an island theme which yeah wont gel well with everyone but musical taste is subjective, doesn't mean the OST is objectively bad

I like how sonic fans are tryna compare shadow levels from SA2 ( they seem more as industrial than the EDM style but lots of categories fall into EDM) EDM to this game but at least it didn’t suck. The new ones have random stuff in it that wasent even needed compared to the original songs.

I like the remix, but there's only one dedicated EDM song in the Shadow Gens soundtrack so far. Some have had EDM _elements,_ but they've largely stuck to either Rock or whatever genre Kingdom Valley is.
