Hey guys, So I’m almost 1 year into my journey with loc extensions and I figured that I would share with you guys some things I would have considered before getting them. Even though I do not regret getting them, I figured I would share some insights for those that are considering them 😊

If you decide to loc again, and have problems with hair growing outside your locs, you may consider the knotted locs method. That is a fast and easy way to maintain your locs and because the knots keep the loose hair together in the loc you don't have to worry about maintaing them so oftrn if you don't want to.

Thanks for full transparency. How would you dye it? just curious. Also do the extensions ever weigh the actual hair down? Too heavy...? I'm curious on this.

Ok so you have helped me with my situation… I was about to cut my damn locs off😮😮😮 but what I will do is cut reattach 0.2 in width and 12 in in length only in my front and fix my shit 😂 thank you sooo much . I haven’t found a video that details what I was looking for and I just subscribed

Yea… I’m over the smell as well and it’s so much thicker it so hard to dry. Plus when I apply product my hair is soft and the extensions are hard 😣 I’m over it too girl. I don’t blame you 💯

I’m starting my micro Loc extensions so far so good with maintenance. I have a loctician so I don’t have to go through maintenance thankfully but I have stuck a crochet needle for a tiny bit of slippage it the perimeter area to make sure. I’m starting off with very short hair so that’s possibly why the slippage is there. A month down but I will cut my extensions out in 3 years myself! Nun like knowing it’s all naturally yours even when it was still yours
Yes! Absolutely!! That is definitely true!! I still want to find a loctician for the days when I do not feel like doing them but the feeling is different. The maintenance, the scents…the texture…it’s all very different but I definitely enjoyed the journey while I was on it.
This is such a creative method and you are so thorough with it!! I'm definitely going to do this to catch my shorter locs up to my longer ones! Great work!!

I'm trying to keep my extensions for 2 years approaching 1 this September. Definitely too much maintenance. Unlike this queen, I can not do my hair. I also go to a loctician. The maintenance and upkeep of extensions are too much. It starts off smooth, but then the natural loc process starts, and it's costly to repair and reattach. My hair is growing fast , and I'm not complaining it just means I have shorter periods in between retwist and interlocking. Also, very expensive.
Exactly! I loved having them but the maintenance was a lot lol good luck on your 2 year goal :)
It’s all your own hair now hopefully the maintenance will be easier. Thanks for sharing it really gives me something to think about. Your honesty in this is priceless. Thanks for helping me make the right decision for myself. By the way I love your cut also best of everything to you.
It’s a little quicker now to interlock but I’m still looking into a loctician to maintain them. I do not regret my loc extensions, and I am blessed that I had the opportunity to try them… Sometimes I do miss the length but right now I’m loving this cut. Thank you so much for watching and I equally wish you the best in everything. 😊

How do you predetermine how many locs go in your head
Hey! So some people roughly make partings to get an estimate. Her bundles can be ordered for a full head of locs which are 240 locs but that’s if your hair density is on the thick side. She also has an option if your hair isn’t as full.
