Nice video , 3yro so gen 3 is not supported they say . But if you download Google TV on a new smart TV they say it can be controlled with your TV remote not just phone. One more thing about the new chromecast HD Google TV with remote is it has way way superior audio. I stream u tube music from my laptop casting the chromecast plugged into an adapter with optical out into a Dennon AVR running 2 subwoofers and 150w x 2 3 way 's, very very loud so l know the difference is big between gen 3 and the new but not even 4k chromecast. The new unit was only $5 more than the 12 year old gen3

How you make it stop sending notification every time it feel motion. It’s kind of disturbing?

The reason why your DIY devices cannot be turned off is because you only recorded the 'Turn On' IR signal in the DIY mode. Most IR remotes have 2 different signals for on and off even though its using the same button. The on/off signal is alternated each time you press the button. So for DIY mode, you should record the on/off button signal twice
