Absolutely love this series! It’s borderline impossible to find videos like this that are ceramic focused.

I'm an artist, but not professionally. I draw and sometimes upload my art on insta but i don't make any money off it. So as someone who literally draws as a hobby, I love the size of the ipad mini. Before I had one, I used an ipad 7th gen with the 1st gen apple pencil, I use to draw on a galaxy note, huion tablets connected to laptops, and then I tried carrying around a sketch book that's the same size as a mini. Out of all those options, I enjoyed the smaller form of an ipad mini/smaller sketchbook the most. If you're use to drawing on something that small you will feel right at home with an ipad mini. But like she said, it's not for everyone, if you prefer to have big screens and enjoy drawing in large sketchbooks and such, get something bigger, get an ipad air tbh, but for someone like me, who has been drawing for 8 years digitally as a hobby, I love it and I recommend it if you're someone who also enjoys drawing in smaller sketchbooks and such. As for why I don't make money off my art, it's because of the lack of confidence in my own art. I would rather upload whatever I want without the fear of disappointing someone with my art. The anime art I draw is for me and me alone and someone happens to like it, that's cool but I'm not ever gonna do commissions and such because that's a commitment I cannot handle. (I've tried before, it was anxiety inducing, I'd rather not go through that again.)

Really helpful video. Had iPads for years but not a pencil and not for drawing/art. Decided I want to now try drawing/art of some kind and buy a new iPad (current one is old) and a pencil. Very close to buying a mini as I fancied the convenience of the size but your summary of the mini being difficult for a art beginner mad and that as I am retired I don’t really have “downtime” as you describe it you saved me making the mistake of buying a mini so I off to buy another decent sized iPad. Will buy this thing 😍 probably .. Im an xp pen artist .. And want to be portable ..and ipad mini 6 is the best option for portability.. And it is the ot so expensive ipad 😁.. Actually while using krita app and drawing on xp pen 13... The drawing area is actually a size of screen of ipad mini.. So i think it is best fit for me😊

On Circe. After reading so many romantasy books where the characters are always strong. Circe was honest in that the character was not strong the way Movie/TV/books make them. She felt like an ordinary person. I connected with her struggles WAY MORE. I saw elements of myself in her and sympathized with her on a deep level. I prefer the flawed, not always-what-we-want-to-see characters over the strong female characters, with no room for failure, cowardness, or lack of insight. Cause Strength isn't always constant like in literature/movies. Her story is closer to the truth for many women. I appreciate the reality of that. And I like my melancholy stories, too! LOL

I wanted an ipad mini but didn't want to break the bank. Instead I got a Samsung Tab A9 that has a similar size (the screen is 8.7 inches) it comes with 8gb of RAM. I am very happy with it. The potential deal breaker is that it won't support the samsung S pen but I am using a capacitive pen with it. I does the job for me. Also I have a small drawing tablet that I can connect to the Tab A9 if I need more accuracy. I love my small tablet and is very affordable.

Hey. Can we use it as a second monitor with macbook pro? I want to replace my wacom intuous and looking for a compact device. I create flat drawings like yours too but with Adobe photoshop.

Nice review. It would be a great companion device to go with my Tab S9+. The form factor looks convenient for quick sketches and studies. Although I do have a Wacom One pen to go with the Tab S9+, there's just something about the iPad Pencil and the nib.

Emerald, the Albert Nipon scarf is probably silk, they were a very good brand for suits & stuff back in the day. If the hems are hand-rolled, it's silk.

Another good way to find more photos/measurements/info on items is just Google them. A lot of times you'll find the same item being sold on Poshmark, Mercari or E-Bay. Then you know if the ThredUp price is good, and you get more info about that piece of clothing.
