Bedding Wash on white cotton 60 using blue persil wonder Wash liquid. Machine reached 62 degrees which is impressive. The Wash action is what majorly let's it down

John Lewis JLWM1202 - Synthetics "Economy" 40°
Просмотров 1399 часов назад
Load of whites on the synthetics economy 40 cycle, which i suspect is just a copy paste of the normal synthetics 40 cycle with intensive selected as its the exact same time. Motor was sounding pretty bad in this so I thought the brushes may be going. I checked them and they're fine though so must just be the cold causing the strange noise

John Lewis JLWM1202 - 30 Minute Wash
Просмотров 36521 час назад
Washing a door mat in the John Lewis on its 30 min cycle, using some bold powder One of thr worst 30 minute cycles I've ever seen on a washer, my bosch serie 6 would have performed better than this on its 15 min cycle
John Lewis JLWM1202 - Cottons 60° Economy
Просмотров 408День назад
Mixed load of bedding and towels on cotton 60 economy cycle. Surprisingly basically just a long version of the standard quick cotton washes but at around 50c. Only 2 rinses and the usual spin patterns
Hotpoint BHWDD74 Washer Dryer - Cottons Hanger Dry

Full Cycle of the hotpoint drying 2 fleece dressing gowns on cotton hanger dry. Absolutely stunk of burnt plastic and took ages, surely used a stupid amount of energy. But at least it did dry them
John Lewis JLWM1202 - Cottons Cold (Hot Fill)

Cotton cold cycle in the John Lewis, with hot fill connected for the main wash so the actual wash temp was around 30c Load of darks using persil wonder wash liquid
John Lewis JLWM1202 - Cotton 60° + Stain (Bonfire Night Special)
Просмотров 32621 день назад
This video was filmed on bonfire night so sorry for the background noise (also a bit of a bulky load test) Apologies for the very weird lighting at first, was meant to be a different theme for the video but I decided against it later on so it does get better
Hotpoint - Unbalanced Limited Final Spin
Просмотров 35921 день назад
Was washing some whites on cotton 60 and decided to go mad on final spin. Spent about 5 min before giving up and spinning. I think it only reached about 1200

Deep Cleaning/Servicing the Beko Heatpump Dryer after 5.5 Years
These seem to be ok machines. This is a lot better than my old smart. A lot quieter too
@@Bekolover4ever awful wash results let it down though sadly due to the tumbles being too slow. But yeah this is alot quieter than those newer ones
@ ah ok yeah I see what you mean. I’m guessing drying results arnt great either lol
@@Bekolover4ever I don’t bother using the dryer as I’ve got the beko in the shed, this would send the leccy bill through the roof

Bro what the hell is this bro😭🙏
Someone said Mini30 on those is actually delicates with time saver haha
they'll spin like this on normal cycles quite happily, these things are tanks
@@thelaundrycookie1200 this model is quite fussy sadly, but it handles unbalanced spins very well
it's probably a bit like my aquacycle was. uncaring on burst 1, fussy on main burst, but every so often decides to go crazy, lol. on the other hand, my IZ spins quite unbalanced a lot.
@@thelaundrycookie1200 yeah this one seems fairly fussy even on the first bursts, not sure if this has newer programming or something it's a 2006 model
interesting. my aquacycle was 2007. and my IZ (not sensitive whatsoever) is 2003.
Exactly the same as the 30 minute on my old Aeg, that allowed 1200 tho but it would slow down as soon as it hit 1200 so the spin performance was still terrible. Not to forget the rinse performance as seen here as the programming is the same was the worst I have ever experienced on a 30 minute cycle
The rinsing on the 30 minute cycle on my Grandparents AEG is even worse tho as it only does 1 rinse
I think my nans miele only does 1 rinse on its express 30 cycle so that might be even worse than this
@ the Miele does an interm after the wash tho, the AEG doesn’t, my skin would be screaming if my clothes were washed on that
06:52 end of cycle.

What are you washing
@@christopherwood6590 2 fleece dressing downs and some fleece bedding
That's an awesome looking machine !! ..a veritable computer controlled beastie !! I recently purchased a new Whirlpool 8kg. I was thinking about the dryer but it pushed the budget just that too high for an old skinflint like me !! lol I had a Hotpoint washer /Dryer when I lived in SW London.. it was a wonderful bit of kit.. nowhere to dry clothes in that tiny flat.. so it was perfect for the job !
@@JimTimber this one came with our new house. I had a proper fancy touch screen bosch series 6 model before but sadly had to sell it as this new place has a built in machine as you see here. This is nowhere near as good as that bosch was wish I'd have kept that in my shed now
And it's still hanging some life left🫡
I'm so glad that finally someone agrees with me other than goddayb. The WFs and WMAs even do this wash action. Like you said, how on earth is it supposed to clean anything?
@@tprods2087 I'm pretty sure the wmas do faster tumbles than these and the wf models, it's horrible, and it doesn't clean anything
@LaundryGuy1500 The WFs are actually the same as yours, but the WMAs I think are slightly faster but they're still the same length
@@tprods2087 yeah I knew the wfs had the exact same crap tumbles as these, the wmas were definitely better with the fast tumbles and powerstreams but they still weren't great with the long pauses in between
@@LaundryGuy1500 Couldn't agree more
1800rpm? 😨
@@bartexxy that's just the display lighting every led up, I wouldn't want to be anywhere near this tin can if it did 1800
@@LaundryGuy1500spider will broke at 1800 😈
I know how to make much quieter while washing. You put a lot of powder detergent and wait until it forms a big foam and also, you could select Extra quiet to make again more quiet.
Why are you using 50° with soak and pre-wash options? I know you want to soak out bacterias from your clothes.
That's reminder you need to drum clean your drum or it can't be clean drum
It moves 53:39.
Yeah it didn't like the tiles in my old utility room. It moved like this quite alot
My old AEG would always faff around balancing and take maybe 3 attempts on each spin due to suds/water locking issues on spins
This one does really struggle to balance these big bulky loads I've noticed. The balancing technique is terrible
@ even with a half life adof towels as soon as it would reach distribution speed it would slowdown and tumble for the rest of the distribution thinking it was extremely out of balance
Does this have a rinse cycle?
@@TheTriformationT yes the seperate rinse starch cycle is, it does 2 rinses though
That's so quiet! Makes a Fisher & Paykel seem like a literal jumbo jet on spin
Couldn't even tell the machine was on if I'm honest
John Lewis enjoys life
Needs to be 100rpm tumbles
You glad I told you about this cycle 🤣

Ok now what on earth is that wash action. White cottons more like delicates.
@@SiemensIQ700pro my bosch series 6 on delicates was more intensive than this
@@LaundryGuy1500 just shows how rubbish this hotpoints wash action is.
Shame the other cycles don’t do this rinse level
the thing with hotpoint\indesit is, on the first interm they don't care about sudslocking, on the second they will cut out and activate antisuds if necessary. on the final spin they then don't care again
@@thelaundrycookie1200 I've seen this one not cut out on the 2nd spin either, in fact I've not ever seen it cut out a spin 😂 on my white cotton 50 full cycle video is where it sudslocked after rinse and kept going
Sounds like Gmod spawn
Pump not work
@@KeremTekinoglu-de8ze it does but I think it's on its way out as it's very loud
our smaung banged 1 time
But hotpoint never limit 😵💫
@@mrlaundry101 it spun this first try for God knows what reason, motor was too weak to speed up past like 1200
@@LaundryGuy1500 For some reason my Smart Tech limits the spin half of the time with a complete balanced load but if its unbalanced then it's spins to full speed.
Excuse me Laundryguy1500, what temperature did you selected? You cannot do this! Just give it a pre-wash if very dirty
luv the water splashing
Service Mode?
@@The_Hybrid_Grubber yes
I think the economy 40° is longer because of the range of Zanussi that had the AA40° option? I think it was made as an actual program on this.

Great! Now that you have cleaned it thoroughly and above all changed the shock absorbers, we want to see the Cotton and Synthetic cycles with the Extra Rinse, Intensive and Prewash options, all three together 😊
