[FFXIV] White Mage Quick Start Guide
Now you can have your own glare factory at home!
My first attempt at making a guide of sorts. Not so much intended for brand new players but instead for people who may be looking to play other classes without spending ages figuring out what buttons are what as quickly as possible. I realised in editing I messed up the script in parts but didn't feel like re-recording at 2am.
I didn't touch on weaving because I wanted to keep the video as short as possible.

I just started on Jenova so this confuses me.
back during endwalker the game had a huge surge in popularity (partly due to covid and WoW's struggle at the time) This caused servers to be overloaded and insane queues for a couple weeks. They were so long you would need to start a queue in the morning to play in the evening in the most extreme cases For the most part through they were 1-4 hours long.
@BeanBossing i remember playing for a week when Shadow Blood came out. Mostly because the review sites I go to were saying it had an amazing story giving almost perfect scores. Endwalker was just adding more good on top of great.

How was the queues? I never came back so I wouldn't know lol
@peaaanuuutz Endwalker was easily the worst of it. They had plenty of time and resources to prepare and make Dawntrail a much, MUCH smoother launch. It did still take a few minutes to log into Dawntrail, at least on my home server, but it never reached the thousands like Endwalker did.

Probably not, they spent a lot of time fixing their log in system plus the games new story arc has absolutely zero suspense going for it and they basically burned through all their goodwill with how little Endwalker post patches brought to the table Obviously anecdotal, but basically all of the people I played with have quit with no real intention to return. I just don't see it popping off again

Didn't happen. Max queue time for me so far has been 10 minutes, on launch night.

@@Sithmaster0 LOL queues are 3000, over an hour, assuming your game doesn't crash with random Direct X error
@@delillama88 Yeah, the US Data Centers had some mild connection issues right after I posted. Still, it was resolved quickly and queue times before and after that short period of time have been really fast compared to Endwalker release. IDk what you're on about with Direct X errors, maybe update your graphics card or get something equivalent to what a PS4 has. The queue right now is only 22.
