How does the auto insurance work with this? Get second coverage or inform original insurance company the vehicle is for commercial use? Probably depends on the region

Hey Jordan thanks for sharing your experience, It was helpful. Do we need to get LLC or something if we plan to add 2-3 cars or thats not needed as by default all rental insurance covers 2mn in third party claims in Canada? I dont want to deal with law suits. What's your take?

If I am understanding correctly. My own personal insurance covers the car while not being rented, and the protection plan fee that Turo takes per trip insures the car while being rented?
@@dylanwong1977 correct!! As soon as you verify your guests licence, and complete a check-in, turos insurance kicks in.
Do you know any Insurance companies who allow Turo Host in Ontario? Any with reasonable price?

How do you find the research piece on where to see the issues known etc?
I went DEEP into reviews and Reddit threads on the maintenance history and possible issues. With a used vehicle, there is typically a good amount of information on it! Hope that helps 👊🏽

When people were more independant minded and didn't need 'little daddy' 3rd party getting involved in everything (by your choice).. we used to just find the ads in the back of the newspaper for people offering to rent their personal cars. It was always good, always cheap and no middle man. Still happens of course through craigslist ect but the noobs don't have the time to look because they're already looking at the tiny screen in their hand but who knows at what.. . This is the nanny takeover of every small business (again by consumer choice).. which means the death of true independance. We still have a real Taxi service in our town, no Uber in sight except if their burnt out underpaid driver unappears from the city close by . If we wanted to rent from a 'corporate' body we would do Avis or something so we could trash the f*k out of the car. Dude ICB is the worst insurance structure in Canada.. can't see them making anything 'super convenient'. This ended up to be just a sleepy commercial for a crass business model. When you started to get into 'restrictions of the age of vehicle - except for yada yada yada..".. vintage 'nice' cars break down as well.. there's the 'cancel cult' again.. where did the great green 'recycling upcycling replenish' culture go suddenly 😅pick and choose mode? .. I knew exactly how to deal with this video. To end it. Good luck in your 'side hustle' you never mentioned what your main hustle is.

New Coffee machine?
This Keurig is actually at my girlfriends apartment! Don't worry, I still have my espresso machine.
You can't do this, when you have to wake up at 5:45 am. Children need to get ready, you have to get ready for work. Do your job from 7:30am to 3:30pm. Pick up the kids and do your homework, dinner etc. At 9pm you go to bed...
I definitely understand where you're coming from Jessica! Everyone's day-to-day is different. Thing thing I like the most about this "challenge" is that you're able to work majority of these rules into your routine without disrupting your schedule to much. Of course there is going to be sacrifices (especially making the time to exercise, although you should try and prioritize this as best you can!). Journaling/reading 10 pages maybe takes 20-30 minutes combined. I believe in you! I would love to brainstorm more about making the time if you're interested. <3
