This is the first of a number of tracks that the Issue recorded in the basement of Priestleys in 1978.

Pretty Shades of Pink were group from York in the early 1980s. Two of them had played in early York punk group the Jermz. The drummer later played with the Jerks and Delta 5. The guitarist played with Our 15 Minutes and later joined the Godfathers. The bass player went on to play with the Batfish Boys. The singer and violinist were in their first group. The Sex Gods were created by the late great Pete De Freitas but by the time this was filmed for the tube he had returned to the Bunnymen drum stool.
