This series is absolutely transformative! The way you break down the clash between biology and modern life is eye-opening. The idea of replacing 'boxes' with 'flows' resonates deeply-it’s a mindset shift that feels so liberating. I appreciate the practical actions offered after the theory; it’s a perfect balance between understanding and implementation. The point about emotions and work struck a chord. It’s so true that suppressing emotions can be counterproductive. Instead, embracing teamwork and shared purpose can make work so much more fulfilling. Kalin’s personal experience adds so much authenticity to this framework. Thank you for creating such impactful content. Subscribed and looking forward to diving deeper into these concepts!

wow, what a journey :o
Great advice 🎉
Very cool video 😊
Happy to hear that 😊
00:09 - Spending money you don't have can lead to opportunities and experiences. 02:30 - Scaling up involves creating value and turning it into money effectively. 04:36 - Embrace entrepreneurial thinking for value creation despite risk levels. 07:06 - Aiming higher financially can be challenging due to social pressures. 09:15 - Viewing money as a flow rather than fixed amounts can unlock greater earning potential. 11:21 - Embracing financial risk can drive entrepreneurial success and personal growth. 13:37 - Investing and spending wisely creates a continuous flow of money. 16:05 - Investing in taxis improves productivity despite initial costs.
Hey! I was wandering about money - money can be a bit like Schroedinge's Cat - at the same time they can be flow and a box - What do you think?
Yes, great analogy, money as a concept is a flow but any specific amount of money is a box. Very similar to the collapse of the wave function :)
Great insights! You’ve made a compelling case for why spending money you don’t have can sometimes be a smart choice.

Bro, you make SEO sounds too good to be true. I've been doing SEO for the last 5 years and it's nothing like that at all. Working inhouse is full of uncertainty, building my own sites then get wrecked by Big G, and becoming a freelancer is super competitive these days. What have I done wrong? 😂
You're not capitalizing on link selling which is what brings the easy profits in SEO. Ranking is hit or miss. Link selling is predictable revenue paid beforehand.
@growyounger Thanks for replying. You're obviously way more successful than me, and I am not trying to be negative or get you into a debate. But you need ranking websites to sell links, that sort of a chicken and egg problem. And selling links is also very competitive, I've lost count how many "hey dear" emails & linkedin messages I've received as an inhouse SEO. You don't have to answer and solve my problem, as I understand everyone is busy. Just want to share my thoughts. Actually, I've read your articles on Business ideas, Money & job, Work life balance and found them incredibly insightful. But after reading them, I honestly thinking about pivoting from SEO as it seems like I've missed the SEO gold rush. Everywhere I turn, it's overcrowded.
@@growyounger Thanks for the suggestion, but I need ranking websites to sell links, that sort of a chicken and egg problem. @@tungao2515 SEO is still an amazing outlier among industries, just the starting capital needed for successful affiliate SEO has increased a lot. The Ahrefs traffic needed to sell links is much lower in quality and quantity than one that is monetizable. It's not that tied to the actual link value (it's more like a correlation myth) and can even be faked.
@@growyoungeroh wow, I missed this reply. Thanks a lot, that's another business idea I can try. 😮 Just want to add one more thing, I love what you're sharing and your approach to life, it's much more chill than the American way that are mainstream right now. Please keep doing the great work. ❤
The best one yet!
Thanks for sharing these fresh and mind opening ideas and information. I always walk away feeling inspired and more knowledgeable. Keep up the amazing work!

Do you plan having shorter videos in the future 😁 or at least a time line in the video with the topics?
Chapters are coming soon, there are shorter videos in the channel but this one is kind of monolithic so the default version is long and shorter segments may come in the future :)
I've watched (so far) the first few minutes (I will watch the entire later). You talked about the environment and how we interact with it. Don't you think is important to put in your main topics the fact that the environment is changing with forces out of our control and we have to adapt to it.
Adapting as a species is hard, adapting as an individual is easier. A complex environment, while challenging, also presents a lot of chances for self-improvement. Humans learn more and grow faster when challenged. Arguable one of the problems for mental health of people in developed countries is not enough challenges. If you can spend 6 hours a day on your phone, you simply don't have enough major things to fix in your life. And the average person does exactly that. In the next videos of the series we go 100% practical and explore 15+ specific ways to use your environment to grow - some use nature, some use work and communication, some even use public transportation. These resources are available to everyone but we don't use them optimally.
Fantastic video. I have felt this way for years, but you articulated it better than I've been able to. Discipline can get you through a few bad days, in the short term, but in the long term you need a very good reason to keep doing something, a reason that is highly meaningful to you.
Thanks! As usual with out content it's even better as an article: i.gy/the-discipline-for-personal-growth-rant/
It's merely an illusion-a book cover filled with knowledge that's over 40 years old and no longer applicable in our rapidly evolving world.

Hi there
You might want to activate ads on the videos because youtube might not recommend the videos organically if they cannot earn money from them
Ads are still shown because there is a threshold before you can remove them. After we pass it, we'll remove them :)
@growyounger better to keep them if you want the videos to be recommended by the algorithm
@@kingcarol I don't think that's a factor. There are huge unmonetized YT channels. Google wouldn't probably care that much, it's pennies to them in the big picture.
i love sleeping, but hate going to sleep too late before a flight
I have banned early flights from my life for that reason. Better pay more and sleep more :)
Well, what about the sun.
People are genetically different about the time they are naturally sleepy. I'm a night owl and like going to bed late and waking up late and I still sleep quite well. The problem is the world is not suited to people like me so I have no choice but to be an entrepreneur since otherwise I have to wake up at 8 to go to work which would be against my biology.
Look at animals, the Sun doesn't stop them. Practically every mammal will take a nap in the middle of the day.
@@whitemakesright2177 Including my cats, they love sleeping in the sun :)
Thank you for this uplifting video! Your insights made me think about myself and obstacles in my daily life and will defintetly try to turn on the Hunting mode. Have read million times that shifting our mindset can transform our lives but was always lacking of action. Subscribed. Keep up the good work! 🙏🙏🌊🌊
Mindset is too complex of a word. We try to use simple intuitive words and then it's easier to understand deeply and feel motivated towards action. Good luck!

easier said than done
True :)
The analogy of a battle is compelling, but I’m curious-why liken it to not needing self-discipline in entrepreneurship? Yes, soldiers in a smaller army fight not out of discipline alone, but because their very survival is at stake. But once a business moves beyond survival and starts to thrive, doesn’t the need for vigilance-and for self-discipline-grow even stronger? Leaving a stable business to run on autopilot simply because it’s no longer fighting for survival would be a mistake. At that stage, self-discipline becomes crucial: it keeps the entrepreneur from becoming complacent, prevents reckless spending, and ensures they stay focused on sustainable growth. What do you think? I may have missed it, but I’d love to know your definition of self-discipline. That would clarify what you meant by the video title. P.S. I agree with you in one way-there’s an excessive obsession with self-discipline, rigid routines, and systems that many American "gurus" push when talking about the 'business mindset.' But frankly, I find it unrealistic; I see plenty of successful entrepreneurs who aren’t nearly that strict with themselves. It’s as if these gurus believe turning every aspect of entrepreneurial life into a well-oiled machine is the only path to success.
Good point.
When dealing with strictures like a developed business rules are no doubt needed. My point is that you don't need to self-enforce rules in your life. I Grow Younger is a self-improvement system so everything is strictly from the standpoint of a person, not a team or organization. The battle represents your internal battle for change and improvement, rather than the battle for survival of a business or team. I found the structure of the external perception of discipline similar and this is why I chose this example :)
Ok so, are you saying that in your analogy, discipline is the bigger army toppled by a smaller force, representing self-improvement? This only adds to my confusion-does self-improvement somehow work against discipline? It makes more sense that they’d work together, right? I don’t get why self-improvement is isolated from discipline in your message. Do you believe self-improvement alone drives change, while discipline is expendable? But if you compare this idea against reality, it is clear that most successful people don't reach their goals without a lot of discipline. Or perhaps you were taking of another group of "successful people"- not entrepreneurs or achievers?
@@kat5266 I have an 8-figure net worth would having any discipline whatsoever :) No rules can result in significant self-improvement, rules can only keep the status quo. Of course many people are in such a struggle that keeping the better version of a status quo may be considered a success. The battle represents the clash of two versions of you - you with rules and you with higher intrinsic motivation. The motivated, intuitive and creative you can achieve much more than the systematic, disciplined you in most areas of life. More on this here: i.gy/out-of-the-box-thinking/
Great suggestions. Question? Grey area. As a filmmaker , I’ve met a lot of successful sheep ( high emotional intelligence from spending a long time in sheep mode ) that are amazing people and extremely successful. Also hunters that are successful but are ultimately assholes because they just push all the time , get their way , but avoid spending time in the ‘ Yin ‘ sheep aspects of themselves that could clear up and get a deep understanding of subconscious beliefs and programs. So successful Hunter / sheep and Sheep / hunters are out there .
Hunter vs Sheep is about the body more than the mind. Being pointed inwards, intuitive, creative, introverted - none of those have correlation with sheep mode. The only things that correlate are Inertia (doing the same thing over and over again or doing nothing), Overthinking (too much logical thought) and Fear/comfort zones in all it's forms. Including the fear of action, scale and success.
@@growyounger Got it ! Yes that totally makes sense now ! Thank you 🙏

Very Zen vibes
Could be. Unfortunately I haven't read any eastern philosophy. It's just my personal experience about what works :)
Based on your experience, if we create multiple 'intelligent' websites, would it be much better to have different owners? (Who.is owner and the stated owner from the website terms and conditions)? I read about your experience with your websites being deranked by Google in 2014.
And if yes, what different owner to use :D
You can use different owners on the website (fake or real) and Whois privacy for the domains which is now the default option in most registrars. Just don't use fake data for Whois.
@growyounger good but what about the fact that i am required by the law and google to display the information about the owner of the website on the website (business registration data) (For Google is required in order to consider you trustworthy and rank you better)
I am ok with sharing these, I just want to avoid being penalized by Google 😃
@@kingcarol You are not required by law to have owner data on a content website that doesn't sell anything. For PBNs the goal is to pass link juice, not rank the website. You can of course use a fake persona if you feel it's worth the effort.
Good point. Very important to aim high. I don't think you can get a result above your goal. Personally, aiming for 10M net worth.
It's much more than money too. Having more joy and less annoyance in your work is important both in itself and so you're motivated to move in the chosen direction.
Hi! I really appreciate the info you provide, but I feel the video and audio editing could use some work. It’s a bit hard to keep my attention, and the content comes across as a bit dry. I’d suggest cutting the pauses between phrases, as well as any mistakes and repeated words, for a clearer and more engaging delivery. This would definitely help us absorb the information better. I understand you’re probably busy and may not have time to edit everything perfectly, but I’ve noticed this in a few of your videos, and I think it might also affect other viewers. Just wanted to offer some friendly advice as a subscriber-definitely not a hate comment!
Thank you! The next videos recorded are already better :)
Hey, and what abaout the dissapointment when your aims are too high and you didint reach?
You need only two things for success, going into the right direction and making steps in it every day, hour, minute and second. Aiming high will greatly help with the direction. Making the steps is about hunter mode and more easily manageable (i.gy/direction/#hunter-and-sheep).
asked myself the same, but tbh if you look back on a year where you aimed for let's say 400k and "just" earned 250k. Do you really feel bad about that?

really interesting to see your approach of being much more scale driven than the typical "let's build 1 site and rank it to make x hundred to x thousand dollars a month"
The benefits of scaling are built into the very math of SEO :)
