We discover that we are powerless to defeat these appetites, but God is able to crush these appetites when we find satisfaction in Him. Speaker: Director, Young Adults Mi...

This is terrorism. Less and less believe in these religious lies.
Thank you for clearly articulating this subject in a Christian/Biblical worlview.
Anen true man of God
This really blessed me. Thank you x
One of THE BEST biblical teachings on the subject of illness (physical and spiritual) and healing I’ve heard thus far. And YES! May this be MORE than just a mental acquisition but to spur the body of Christ to walk in the healing God desires for us!
Wow!! You have to see the whole thing. Good analogy
This has been a great series! Any word on what the series is this fall?
Genesis 1 is ELOHIM (Lucifer and the fallen angels). They made this realm. They made man in their image. (tares) Man is an idol, a trap to hunt angels. Genesis 2:7 the Lord God forms His representative in their system. (wheat) One Gospel: Gospel (GOOD ANGEL) of Reconciliation. Jesus Christ came into THEIR kingdom to reconcile fallen angels unto Himself. We are the fallen angels (ELOHIM) kept in DNA chains of darkness. If you do not confess being a fallen angel in Lucifer's kingdom, then you are an unbeliever. Unbeliever = those that claim to be made in the image of ELOHIM(gods). REPENT FALLEN ANGELS.
Genesis 1:3 and God said let there be light💡
A very powerful sermon, follow the full series!
This is a wonderful message that has helped me right now, today as I have been feeling God’s invitation to serious, fervent prayer. I now realize it is time to grow up and stop being so flippant about prayer. I CHOOSE- to honestly wrestle with God in prayer until He blesses me with a changed heart and life, for His glory and purposes and my good!
Pastor Tom, Tim Slate, I been in the Philippine for 6 months. Involved, Born again church. The name. Lead 5 person to the Lord. I bought my booklet with me, “ Salvation of Jesus “. And the Purpose life Tack with me. I found a Pinter to make copy for the church. Tim
I don't know about which chapter in Isaiah is "the most important" but John says in chapter 12: 37 "But although He had done so many signs before them, they did not believe in Him, 38 that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke: “Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?” 39 Therefore they could not believe, because Isaiah said again: 40 “He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, Lest they should see with their eyes, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.” 41 These things Isaiah said when he saw His glory and spoke of Him." In other words, Isaiah saw the glory of the Son of God, over 700 years before his birth in Bethlehem. And Isaiah revealed the atoning sacrifice of the Messiah long before His death on Calvary. I think the speaker goes a bit overboard in downplaying the earthly glory of Christ. That high school related line about people thinking he was "weird" Uh, no. When Christ was only 12 years old he amazed the Rabbis in the temple. His physical appearance was average but his wisdom was overwhelming. And people could tell how great was his compassion and love when they saw him work miracles. He was attractive, just not Hollywood style.
Does God pray??? Why is God desperate??? Does God really say "fix this"? Was it all theater???? How can Jesus possibly be God? Thank you.
This is a great sermon, with good explanation and interpretation. I can't help feeling, however; that it is too long and too wordy. A forty-five minute talk with twenty minutes of content. Nonetheless, thank you Pastor Tom for all you do. I thank God for the powerful way he has led you to share your gifts.
To be in heaven
Are people awakening to the question? Jer 7 22 For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices: Jer 7 23 But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you. If "God" did not command or desire sacrifice... Who did? Who wanted the lamb slain from the foundation of the world? Who thought of this concept that forgiveness is given through the sacrifice of an innocent soul?
I think many diligent believers do, but many may not also. He was the merciful sacrifice in our place. His sacrifice is mercy toward us. Does not mean we should not obey.
@@brothert80 it is good that people are learning Mat 9 23 TS2009 “But go and learn what this means, ‘I desire compassion and not offering.’ Hosh. 6:6 For I did not come to call the righteous to repentance, but sinners.” But brother... Can even those who are learning this fully explain who demanded the sacrifice?

Thank you so much for this message, me and my fiance are getting married this year and both victims of CSA, both of us are waiting for marriage for marriage too but feel shame over what happened when we were younger. She especially struggles in this area. As a tough carpenter who rarely shows emotions I nearly broke down crying when you mentioned how God sees Dinah towards the end of your message!
Thank you for commenting, and for sharing how God used this message in your life. Praying He continues to redeem what Satan meant for harm, as you enter into marriage.
I love how you explained the days but it was Adam crrated in God image. Eve is life and God took from adam to give her flesh, a body. God did creat them both but it was Adam created in HIS image. Understanding this is crucial to everything that happens
Light removes darkness
Do you guys have anywhere to get access to the worship before this sermon?
We do not.
Matthew 21:18-22 Jesus cursed the fig tree, which is widely believed to be spiritually Israel. This happened after Jesus’s ministry to the Jews was met with such resistance and disbelief. The “fig tree stretching forth its leaves” does have some significance, if not, why is it in the Bible? Scholars have taken the fig tree to be Israel. Although it does not surprise me, it saddens me that present day Israel is not supported by some churches as the Israel of the Bible. Jesus cursed Israel and proceeded to graft in the gentiles (present age). At some time Israel will manifest growth or the curse will end. Some take this to mean that Israel will turn towards Jesus as the messiah or be reestablished as a nation. One of those has occurred, which is a potential fulfillment of this prophecy.
Jim did a great job of exposition in this passage but missed a crucial prophecy and could have spent time talking about its future fulfillment.
We need more Samra gaming videos, priceless! ❤
How about kick the wolves out of the church. That's your job pastor. Im not putting myself or my children in danger by attending a wolf friendly church. Wolves have no desire to know God. They work for Satan. Lets get that straight. Wolves are not ignorant. They are very intelligent and yes, no Christian should have to put up with a predator spying on them or their children. Wolves know exactly what they do. Jesus tells me to have nothing to do with wolves. Avoid them.
Yes I needed this yes I’ve been an awful wretched person and he’s carried me thru all that thank you Lord he’s working in me i feel his change every day❤❤

I'm asking, "Why church" when the Church abandoned the people on March 15, 2020. When the Church let it's elderly members, who built and supported the Church their whole lives, die alone and abandoned. There is no excuse possible for how the Church lost it's soul in 2020.
WE'LL SEE AT THE END OF TIMES. AND I HOPE BY THEN THAT YOU ARE TOTTALLY CONVINCED THAT JESUS IS LORD

Excellent words Pastor Samra. Thank you for this sermon.
Crazy: I just finished reading "God Told Me" (and I highly recommend it!) The funny thing is that I had no intention of buying/reading the book. I was intending to buy Pastor Samra's commentary on Jude (w/James & 1&2 Peter). but I felt instead that the Lord told me to read "God Told Me" after I looked at Jim's author page on Amazon. Sure enough, I found this church YT page, and Jim starts the sermon off with a passage from Jude! God'e perfect timing! I believe that "God is telling me" to read the Jude commentary next! I will be obedient and purchase it right now! Thanks for your ministry! & God bless!
What a fun story! Thanks for sharing.
Jason, thank you so much for these encouraging words. I am so grateful to hear how the Lord has been speaking to you. That’s so cool! Blessings, Jim
With the rise of LGBTQ PRIDE, every perversion of sex is being promoted and propagated as the norm for this society. This message is "on time". Keep up the "God" Work!💯👍
I love Calvary and have gone there since I was a kid… but I wasn’t sure about this sermon. It seems to be rationalizing the use of “preferred pronouns”. I have empathy for a person who has an abortion and is tricked into thinking it’s not a life, same as someone who calls a man a woman thinking that’s empathy… but the pronouns it’s clear that the most empathetic and Christian thing to do is be honest and to not indulge delusions that cause pain and mutilation. The social war is real and we can’t be soft footed and gentle all the time even if there are places for it… it doesn’t mean to lie. You can say it’s wrong to use the wrong pronouns while also forgiving and understanding past use of it.
I agree that sometimes we need to speak out on sin and evil, but I see some that speak out too much when people are not ready to hear it, and some speak too little. However, even if you disagree with someone on their wanting their pronouns, it's one thing to indicate disagreement with them, but do you think it's loving to keep confronting them about it? If there is someone you know that has changed their name for whatever reason (sex change, just wants a different name) and asks you to call them by their name, should you use the old name that they don't want? We can hope and pray that they eventually will turn if it is related to sin, but saying your piece is one thing, respecting them where they are in the meantime is another. Do we keep reminding someone who has had an abortion how they must repent? Do we bring it up every time we see them? I think Jim was addressing how we deal with people on an individual basis in that ethical dilemma. I don't think that we are indulging people in delusions if we use the pronoun (although I personally haven't had to use pronouns anyway for those people with different sexual identities anyway, I just address them by name, if that will make it easier when others have their pronoun issue/concern). We can say we disagree, but we can show we respect where they are, and leave the door open to talk more in the future. I also am concerned that the focus on the social war which can affect how we engage non-believers, which I have seen some have attitudes of seeing non-believers as enemies. We can confront with sensitivity of the Spirit, not people pleasing, but when God tells us when to be bold and when to be gentle. However, the social war is a by-product of the bigger problem: not being in the Body of Christ. Our primary goals are to bring the Gospel to others, glorify God with our lives, love our neighbor as ourselves. Jesus confronted people in a "war" like context at times with the religious leaders who should have known better, but think about how he treated everyone else. He gave the message of the Gospel (words, miracles), encouraged those who wanted to come to Him, then said repent/don't sin any more. Jesus showed patience and grace to sinners, and when they were open, then He told them welcome, now turn away from sin. I don't think Jim is saying never tell anyone that pronouns are wrong , but do not look at social "war" issues differently than other sins and concerns in how we treat our neighbors. Sense where the situation is and pray on the Spirit on what to do and say (maybe it is the time to gently confront them on the pronouns), and remember how we interact in the Body (where we do have God's standards and discipline) is different than a world that does not see Jesus, and work with where they are at, like Jesus did. It is not wrong to tell society what is right and wrong as general standards, but recognize where our neighbor is spiritually and emotionally whenever/however we speak truth.
It depends on whose using it
