They obviously love this song. And I do too. For me, it captures…the nostalgia for youth and the hope that came with it. And finding a way to find a kernel of it again…by realizing it’s gone forever.

I started University in Newcastle the same day as Bryan in 1964. I was asked to front a new band but turned them down and he got the gig instead. Having seen bands like the Beatles in the 1960's with only the 4 of them I never understand why they need so many people on stage these days.
