It's nice to be able to work with the computer off, recording right to the tape machine. Of course it will be just as nice to turn the computer on again in order to dump everything into ProTools! The LinnDrum sounds awesome:)

We’ve been extremely happy over the years without a tape machine, but it was much too good a deal to pass up, and so we have decided to integrate this 2 inch 24 track analog recorder into our current pro tools set up. Why the hell not!

We’ve had this mint old LinnDrum for about a year now, and it’s always been one of my favorite sounds. We don’t use this to replace drums necessarily, because we love drums. This adds another element to a track, giving it an 80’s feel, which also, oddly enough, makes it feel very current!

Great looking bike, but I'm just not a fan of the battery on top. It makes the center of gravity so high.
Great video and Neil Young showing his compassion for his son and Lionel trains. My first train was a Marx’s tin train that I thought Santa misunderstood me so the next Christmas I got a Lionel train set. I still have it plus more just lacking room to set it up in our house because Florida doesn’t build basements. I thought about building a shelf around our den and running a different engine again.

On pedal assist do you have to twist throttle to engage for assist or does it do it on its own in pedal assist mode?
no throttle needed, once you pedal, it will assist you, and it's actually a total blast.

well, it's been rock solid for nearly a year, with zero issues. At this price point, it's quite a good bike.

Was this on an eBay store or anything? Seen a lot about these, but a lot saying they are a scam. They’re obviously a real thing but I don’t know who to trust as reputable. You are the first thing I came across that seems somewhat legit.
yes, I got the bikes on Ebay, and it was an effortless transaction. Still thrilled with both the bikes. The seller was 'dreamdeal86', and was great, and painless to deal with! We had the bikes in less than a week.

No problem at all. The bikes are going STRONG. We are hitting around 32 mph on straightaways, and the five levels of pedal assist are actually fun. I didn't get this bike for exercise purposes, but more for cruising around, and it's done an A+ job. We took the bikes to our local trails a few weeks ago, which were gravelly fire roads, with some steep hills. The loop is about 5 miles, and when we got back to the car, we both still had nearly full charges.

it feels leathery to me, but might be synthetic. It's honestly hard for me to tell. I WILL say that it's very comfortable!

hey! So, we at a month in with these bikes and they are fantastic in every way. I had a few friends get the same ones after riding ours, and they love them too. I'm very impressed, and the Shimano components are quality. These bikes have made our days more fun!
