Oh Man, I bought this one online for $350 welt I'm an old DJ and I just love mixers I have a few but this one is is special I had heard so much about it so Ebay was my go to. It's old and has been used a lot and still it seem to work just fine can someone direct me in setting up stage monitors Thanks

I saw one advertised and was going to buy it and I came across this review. In you opening statement you said, it is not the best. With BG designed pre-amps ams eqs and Lexicon effect, how can that be? Are you referring to the audio performance are impracticality because of the power switch or unlit mute buttons for eg? Would be glad if I can get some clarification. Thanks.

Hi Neil, fantastic review! I’m about to order this exact model, it’s only going to be for home studio use, connecting 6 x keyboards to it in stereo and also plugging in my microphone.. will want to use the lexicon FX for my vocals… I’m selling a Behringer QX1832USB mixer which I’ve only had since January 2020, will I notice a massive difference between these 2 mixers when using it for my uses?🤷🏻‍♂️ thoughts?

Thanks Neil. Good explanations. But, at 13:30min you talk about the "Post / Pre" fade button. This button is NOT USED for effect, it's used for AUX1 out (look at the schematic). Effects are always POST FADER on that mixer.

First off, a big thanks for your great review. And yes.. I hate split channel strips and their multi channel claims. I have an 8 channel Berringer that is actually 4 switched single channel imputs. Its now relegated to controling the sound in my home stereo cabinet. Here we are.. 2017... and this Soundcraft is still one of the best board layouts made. Still a best buy in my book... Just wanted to commend you for your review which helped me decide on the EFX 12.. Glad I did too.... cheers.

Thank you , I think i have made my decision to buy this mixer , I have been looking at many mixers , Like you said 12 channel mixers with 8 mono lines and 4 stereo lines m I want 12 . The only thing about this one is I wanted some db switches or maybe some compression , I am going to look a little more , But I think this will be the one ,, Thank you for all your help ..

thanks neil, great review. im actually looking at this mixer used at the music store down the street. that on off switch is abit wierd though lol. anyway, i subscribed, and look forward to more reviews and videos!
