I’ve lived in both the Wichita Falls area and/or OKC areas almost my whole life. I could not disagree more. OKC and Lawton are not even in the same league. Sure, OKC is not as friendly as it used to be, but it is overall a safe city in which to live and to visit. Like any other city, some areas are not as safe as others. All that said, I miss the low traffic in WF. I’m sorry to hear about you all’s experience here. That’s just terrible.

@@joshuar1770 ask my friend David Mass the bullet that the gang shoot out went about 3 inches from his head. He was a Jr in high school. Whenever you have to have a police escort for a high school soccer team to play it’s a dangerous area and there’s really no arguing with that as a varsity football and varsity basketball player. I’ve never had a police escort anywhere except in Lawton Oklahoma.

@@jameskelly5604 you’ll find that in any moderately sized city. My parents lived in the nicest neighborhood in WF, still close enough to hear gunshots from a the neighborhood across the highway. I wouldn’t consider WF unsafe. I’m glad your friend is okay. I’d be curious to know what part of the city this event occurred. That would explain a lot. Take care down there in WF.
