What about the show? It's made every single fallout game boost in popularity and made the franchise relevant again

@@Mimiktwo nah, FNV is still active coz it has a dedicated modding community, and the community became very active like since 2020. And FO4 is (personally) not a fallout but rather a bastard baby of Skyrim and Bioshock. So, I don't care about it. The TV show however, is a damn insult to the whole west coast lore. Fallout has succumbed to the very interests which it critiqued in the CRPG games

@breddie_is_rookie I agree to what you say, but still I believe that the show has brought the games and the incredible world building and stories to a much larger audience.

@@Mimiktwo Larger audiences always comes with a caveat of being compromised for net profit, by watering down the soul of the media. For example, take the Shin Megami Tensei series, which is a damn LSD trip which was actually interesting, but now, what made it interesting is gone, what remains is a tedious dungeon crawler and nothing else. Same with fallout; we wouldn't be getting another fallout 1, 2 or NV, especially after the dumpster fire of the TV show. The BoS is a walking corpse, Vault Tec is much more dead given it is a part of the Enclave, and Todd gets off by pissing off West Coast fans. For all I care, I wish Fallout remained niche with FO4 and F76 being a warding sigil from the mainstream. And lo, what I feared happened, and all I can wish is that the same doesn't happen to other good CRPGs like Wasteland and Disco Elysium.
