Difference being that they were waiting for a huge bushfire (started by 6MP5) to clear out from the Belair National Park.

6WP2 as it was going through Tailem bend was meant to pick up 8114 as a banker to accompany NR69 and DL44, but 8114 decided to stall at tailem bend. Therefore without any other possible bankers up there, the only option was to split the train into half. Later on, light engines 9317 and DL48 arrived at tailem bend, taking 8114 and the second half of 6WP2 back down the hill. In short, 6WP2 had no...
RARE Quad GMs on 3152 at Mt Lofty!! Notch 8 classic EMD action!

Here we see the rare lash up of quad (four) gms, with a 22 (same as a 422) class on the front! The 22 had an interesting horn. It was quiet at first, then as it went loud, the ditch lights started flashing! This video was taken at the infamous railway station, Mt Lofty. Here we see 6MP1, 4PM6 and 6MP5. The SCT that I especially went out for (meant to have G, SCT, SCT, G) didn't turn up, when I expected, but instead ran an hour earlier than normal.

This video contains RedHens and Bluebirds to 3000 class railcars. From great combos such as an SCT class on a GWA grain train with a 700 leading, a Vanilla NR, Ghan NR and AN DL or 93/93/AN DL to single PN star NRs! Videos ranging from Victor Harbor to Hawthorn though to the adelaide hills!! It's going to be an exciting video and well worth your time!

I think I may add that this was actually a push/pull service with steam locomotive 621 on the back. Basically it was a Steam/Alco powered push/pull service with 7 or so carriages in between.

Why couldn’t they use the part D78 Stock train doors on the sides and also restructure the front face of the A60 and A62 stock and that includes the class 313, class 314 and class 315 remix and make them all together and also redesign them an overhead line and also make them into Five cars per units and also having three Disabled Toilets on those Five cars per units A60 and A62 stock trains and also convert the A60 and A62 stock trains into a Scania N112, Volvo TD102KF, Volvo B10M, Gardner 6LXB, Gardner 6LXC and Gardner 8LXB Diesel Engines and also put the Loud 7-Speed Voith Gearboxes even Loud 8-Speed Leyland Hydra cyclic Gearboxes in the A60 and A62 stock, class 313, class 314, and class 315 and also modernise the A60 and A62 stock and make it into an 11 car per unit so it could have fewer doors, more tables, computers and mobile phone chargers. Take it easy, they're hardly pushing the limits
To all those suggesting that the uploader is being a Karen, have you stopped to consider that running across rail lines can be dangerous at the best of times? Rails tend to be slippery, and all it would take for a runner to fall over and injure themselves is to hit one of the rails at the wrong angle and they'd drop like a sack of spuds. I wouldn't want to try and limp away from the middle of railway tracks just as a freight train is seconds away from coming through.

Love sound of the horn on the 75 model brill. Yes I have actually scratch built a Ho gauge which is 1.87 scale model of the 75 model brill motor rail that is been fitted with a DCC decoder chip.

One of the postings I had was Gate Duty on the main Northern Tablelands Line in N.S.W ( at Kankool with the NSWGR ), 12 hour shifts , the signal man would ring and tell U a train was coming , had a little humpy with a bed bolted to the wall and a Pot Belly Stove for the cols nights in winter , was a great job !
