LSAT Timeline: How much time do you REALLY need?

Wondering how much time you need to set aside to study for the LSAT and do well? There's no one right answer, everyone's timeline will be different, but in this video, I share the timeline that took me from a 152 to a 170 on my practice tests. (I just took the official test last week, so stay tunes for those results). Sidenote, I FINALLY TOOK THE LSAT LAST WEEK!!!!!!!!!! OMG I'm so happy that's...

“Neuro-spice” sounds so fitting 😂
I’d like to email you if possible. Where can I reach you?
Princess I appreciate you more than you know. I am on the verge of tears since I found your channel. As a single father of color returning to school in a new state with a recent diagnosis of ADHD the road is unrelenting. The barriers of race and financial hardship on medical care is inhuman. Your content is the fog light I needed. I know I am not the only one. Blessings ❤
Would you be willing to share who you used for tutoring and your review of them?
❤❤
I’m so glad to have found your videos 🙂 This has been so helpful (I’m a first generation student) and looking to become a lawyer. Thankyou for these tips and I’m rooting for you 🙌🙌🙌
This is such valuable information!! Thank you for this. It definitely had me rethinking my law school journey.
You're such an inspiration. I haven't taken a diagnostic yet, but I'm not American and unfamiliar with standardized testing, so I don't think I'll be good at it, plus when I look at questions, they just confuse me LOOL. But it's encouraging to know that you went from a 152 to a 170 on PTs
You're absolutely gorgeous and simply amazing keep going
I’m always learning something
Damn .. I know your personal statement is GREAT! Keep going black queen! You woke up this morning so keep pushing💯😎
Thank you 🙏🏽🥹 When I get my acceptance offers I’ll do a video sharing my essays. 💙
Thank you so much for this video 🔥🔥
Thank you for watching!
Thanks to you, I got the full accommodations for the test. I would not have even tried if I hadn't spoke to you. Thank you so much for this valuable information. YOU are amazing
I love to hear that! I’m so happy I’ve been able to help, you’re going to have your pick of top schools when you apply, watch. 🥹🫶🏽
Hi Whitney! I love your content! I recently just got diagnosed with ADHD and I just wanted to know if you could make a video with navigating the accommodation process (if you applied for them of course!) Regardless, very helpful video!
Hi Alexis, thank you for watching! Yes I did get accommodations and I can definitely do a video about that because I couldn’t find too much content on it myself when I looked.
Good information.
I was using 7 sage and found that I was burnout going through all of the foundation lessons. Even though it is helpful, I learn better by practicing over and over again. For this I will be switching to LD.
@@eimyrivera1490 yes! That’s exactly what happened to me too. It became too much and I didn’t have time to fit in actual drills or PTs.
Thanks for sharing! I need to start doing this to get my desired score!
@@annaates873 Yes, try it! It helps you get the most of out of your studying. It can feel tedious but it pays off.
Thank you for sharing! Keep sharing, your journey is inspiring and you’ll look back and see your growth and confidence! 💜
Thank you for watching! And you’re right, I definitely view this as a video journal. 💙
Love your videos, can you do a video about your essays and the consulting company you used for your application?
Yes! That’s coming forsure. Essays are such an important part of your application.
Hey, I found you from my channel. I liked and subbed to your channel. Great tips ! I have recently sat down and flushed out my goals. Making sure they make sense and are realistic has been a huge game-changing factor for me. You offer great advice. Keep posting ❤
Thank you so much for watching and supporting my channel! And yes! Pace yourself, "consistency" isn't going to look the same for everyone. 💙
I just started studying. Thanks for this tip!
@@RaquelHernandez94 you’re welcome! Let me know if it helps! I think a lot of my progress was due to taking the time to actually write all of this out for every wrong answer (sounds like a lot, but you’ll have less wrong answers over time). 💙
If you try using a wrong answer journal come back and tell me if it helped!
Great information.
Thanks for watching!!
I completely agree and experienced this myself!
@@lupitahaussmann 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 how did you do?
This is wonderful video with an insightful perspective. Thank you for sharing and I wish all the success
@@lupitahaussmann thank you so much for watching!
Is this an ad for LSAT Demon lmao
@@LeeDoesArtStuff I wish it was but I wasn’t paid and I paid full price to use their course. I genuinely believe people should use it over other programs and want to help people, but you’re free to use whatever you like.
Thank you for posting this video, I was initially planning on taking 1 gap year and it has turned into 3 due to me attempting to get a higher LSAT score. I am not in a rush, I know it will happen in God's timing because I am learning a lot about myself along this journey. I have subbed to your channel...keep going.
@@latoyiabesqupnext3593 Take all the time you need! Law school isn’t going anywhere. Hang in there and get the best score you can so you can go to the best school possible for as close to free as possible. Thank you for subscribing! 💙
LSAT Demon 🔥
The best!
Great content! I’m about to start the prep journey with the demon. Do you time your practice tests to simulate the real test?
I did a practice test to see where I was at, then did drills, and timed sections. I started doing PT’s more often once I started scoring higher because I had less wrong answers to review per test. Accuracy matters more than time, don’t worry about timing until you’re getting majority questions right.
Where did you take this diagnostic test at ? I’m starting my LSAT study journey now in the fall and would love to know!
This is from 7Sage, but I recommend LSAT Demon. Or even just LawHub for a practice test. You have to pay for (unless you have a fee waiver) LawHub for access to test questions no matter which prep website you use.
Great video and content love the page, especially for someone just starting the LSAT prep journey!! I found LSAT demon to be very helpful as well btw!
Thank you! I’ll be posting more now that I’m done with the LSAT. I’m glad you’ve found it helpful. 🫶🏽
Thank you!
Thank you for watching!
PLEASE! Share your study schedule and wrong answer journal. Also any advice when talking to admissions?
Yes! I can do all of these.
The wrong answer journal video is up now. 💙
What did you get for your LSAT? Congrats on all your work!
I got 166 on the august LSAT. Will do an update on my Oct score since I’m done with the LSAT now. 💙

I gotta get me a camera... nice set up...
Thank you. Cameras are great, but don’t let that stop you for making content. My most viewed RUclips video was filmed on my iPhone! 💙
@whitneychanell wow for real? I don't have a iPhone tho but wow it's cristal clear.. for it to be a iPhone but yeah your set up looks nice ..
@whitneychanell idk lately I been wanting to quit making content to be honest...
@Mrdonny908 yes! Moral of the story, just start with what you have. I also got the camera in this video on Offer Up for only $350. I didn’t buy one until I found one at the price I could afford. So Used cameras are great as well.
@@whitneychanell wow that's a great price..
You being paid to do ths 😅 cuz aint nobody truly doing ths 4 more yrs
@@eyes2c..519 Am I being paid to volunteer? No.
She can’t say one coherent thing, she hasn’t properly answered any questions on the border crisis, addressed why she hasn’t gone, she said “and I haven’t been to Europe either!” In response to being asked. Joe Biden had reminded her of the constitution (2nd amendment) on the nominee debate previously where she said she’d ban Assault weapons. She and Joe Biden have lost 400 THOUSAND immigrant children and haven’t answered how that happened. If that doesn’t worry you, I don’t know what will. Dang I was gonna comment something but it probably doesn’t even matter bc democrats love to cover things up and silence opposition and it probably would’ve gotten deleted anyways😪 (edited bc you said you wouldn’t delete it)
I don’t delete comments, but thank you for this comment. 💙
You can help Nevada turn blue by volunteering virtually! Ask me how 💙
What’s your beat saying?

7Sage’s explanations were the worst for me 😭
@@whitneychanell agreed
Cheers for posting all these updates Whitney it’s super helpful
Thank you so much for watching!
So crazy I said this awhile ago, but I thought I was crazy b/c everyone suggested one against the other. But I like how you said it depends on YOUR LEARNING style. LSATDemon was the only tool that made LG make sense when it was still a thing.
@@Itsdominiquelebby thank you, yes. If 7sage works well for someone I’d never tell them to change what’s working. I do believe that LSAT Demon can be great for everyone, but whatever gets the job done.
You can achieve what you believe. Thank you for this!❤
@@joycemccray7523 that’s exactly it, and nothing more! So set BIG goals. 🫶🏽
Congrats on the score increases! You mentioned speaking to admissions/deans. Could you do a video on that? Specifically what are reasons for one to reach out, how to go about it, etc.
Thank you and yes! This is one of my fave topics I can talk about it all day lol because it’s been extremely helpful to me. Please subscribe if you haven’t already, I’ll definitely do a video on this and what I’ve learned from them for you.
100% agree with demon. Started using every other program and didn’t see any real progress until I started using lsat demon. Went from a 139 to a 165 within 2 months of studying
Congrats! That’s amazing progress, keep going!
Please!! Any tips on how you improved so fast??
How did you jump that far?
@@2daniaddi check out my video on how to use a wrong answer journal. Personally I think that played a huge role in me increasing my score from a 148 to an official 168.
@@antoniowalker4569 I know you were asking them, but I had a similar jump and I attribute a lot of it to using a wrong answer journal and studying effectively and efficiently. I just posted a video on how to use a wrong answer journal, too.
Thanks for sharing your story! I’m taking the LSAT in Nov. I recently pushed my Sept test date back to Nov. Question for you… Did you complete the survey for Strategy Booster? If so, did you find the material helpful to prepare for the LSAT?
