As our magnificent region continues to grow, so do the demands for clean, safe reliable drinking water. Cascade's mission is to provide water supply to meet current and future needs of our members in a cost-effective and environmentally responsible manner through partnerships, conservation, acquiring, constructing and managing water supply infrastructure and fostering regional water planning. Cascade is a municipal corporation comprised of seven municipalities (five cites and two water and sewer districts) in the Puget Sound region that joined together to provide safe, clean, reliable water supply to its 380,000 residences and more than 22,000 businesses. This video describes how to test for a toilet leak using dye. Cascade is no longer sending out dye strips, but simple food coloring can be used. Cascade members can also order dye strips from Cascade's webpage.
If you want to stagger the run times for a specific zone over a long period in a single day such as a high slope turf area. Do you set the run time for the total minutes OR the time that you want to break the total minutes into? example total run time will be 30 mins over 3 time periods for 10 mins each time at 4:00 5:00 and 6:00. Do I set run time for 30 mins or 10 mins? thanks
This may vary by irrigation controller, so you should check the manual, but in general, set the run time for 10 minutes at each of the 3 times you want to water for the 30 minutes total.
