REMOVE YOUR VALVE FELTS BEFORE DOING THIS if they get wet and you dont take them off to dry, they can flatten very easily and uour valves will clink clank much more (most trumpets have felts under the buttons/top part, on top of the valve cap, and between the cap and the valve itself)
DONT EVER STORE THE REED ON THE MOUTHPIECE

There’s felt pads under the valve caps, and you shouldn’t get them too wet or they can flatten or mold, but it will still be functional, just moldy
