Every time I listen to this song, I cry, thinking back on the times I spent with my friends and loved ones who are no longer with me in this world. I always thought that when my days on this Earth are done, I would reunite with them again in heaven. As I keep going with my life, I keep living in their memory so that they'll never be forgotten. I watched Spirited Away before, but I never spent enough time to analyze what it was all about. After watching it as an adult, I can see it now. This song is one of the most beautiful melodies I've ever listened to. Not only is it calming, but it also stirred long dormant emotions and memories I never thought I could feel or experience again.

Not really if this is true but the song is actually about the Great Hanshin Earthquake in 1995 which destroyed the city of Kobe and took away thousands of lives. I feel like the song talks about how you can still have hope and keep going even after devastating disaster. The song title is literally “always, over and over” just like how we have faced countless tragedies and have always rebuilt our lives, over and over.
