    Again some people shouldn’t own guns. Tried to decide the gun by pulling the trigger and gently lowering the hammer with his thumb but the hammer still slammed and boom. “Did IIIIIIII do thaaaaaaat” in a Steve Urkle voice. “Steeeeeeve”. Geez. Gun has a decocker. He rather use his stubby meat beaters like a dummy. Then post a video being surprised. IQ rating of a star fish.

    • @RobActiveShooterEngh
      @RobActiveShooterEngh 4 месяца назад

      And some people are too stupid to realize this was a purposeful demonstration of a decock gone wrong. Those same people are apparently too stupid to know that this gun does not have a decocker and that the only option to decock it is to manually do so. The preferred method being the thumb role. This particular demonstration was to show what happens when the pinch method fails.

    • @mr.freightliner7607
      @mr.freightliner7607 4 месяца назад

      Well you might want to change that title there Copernicus because a thumb thumb roll is totally different than docking too fast. Releasing that hammer fast yes. Big Dummy.

    • @RobActiveShooterEngh
      @RobActiveShooterEngh 4 месяца назад

      Oh whoops, this was the fast thumbroll, regardless, as the title states, purposely done too fast, to show what happens. So yeah, exactly as described it's demonstrated.

      The Revolution, Automated 1050 and Rollsizer are sitting at around $27,000 Canadian dollars. I have a few other presses and tools, so grand total now is probably close to 50k. Ours has an issue of spitting out a shell and jamming the machine if we get too far past 1800 rnds and hour. It will run great fast for a while, but then the centrifugal force will cause one to throw. Then we have to unjam it and clear the plate and reset and that takes like 5 or 6 minutes. 1800 is as far as we have gotten so far. Wondering how long you can run at 3500?

    • @RobActiveShooterEngh
      @RobActiveShooterEngh 3 года назад

      I can run all day at 3500. Key for me was making sure both springs are on the caae pawl, or else yes, cases can spit out at the higher speeds. I was running with just the top spring in the arm, but once I put 2 it runs solid.

    is there any way for you to do a quick video on the swage height and primer pin bushing height? I have a revolution and it will run great for about 10 rounds then it'll eat a primer for no apparent reason... chasing if the pocket on the shell isn't getting swaged enough or if the primer is shifting on the pin before being pushed into the pocket.

    • @RobActiveShooterEngh
      @RobActiveShooterEngh 3 года назад

      yeah no way to do that, and honestly, not a good idea. you never walk away from machines like this for very long. Gun powder and primers are a bad mix to leave unattended while running

    • @BLD877
      @BLD877 Год назад

      Never leave a machine like this. Need to keep it fed with primers, powder, bullets, and cases. Also need to address stoppages or worse, problems that don't stop the machine but mangle things. Always watch or at least be nearby and listening. When you spend enough time with machines like this, you can hear when something is even slightly amiss.

      @adamwagner7105 3 года назад

      @@RobActiveShooterEngh We also have horrible inconsistency in the primer station. Most everything else works reliably, but the primer "everything" is our sticking point. We can run 2500-3000/hr, but we'll be stopping (even at 1000/hr) about every 20 or 30 rounds. It's ridiculous. Our actual throughput is maybe 500-1000/hr with all the stoppages. Are you using new brass? Same headstamps? Which primers? Do you prep the brass (presize and decap it before running it through)? We thought maybe our problem was variations in primer pocket sizes (mixed range brass) or the occasional odd case (we have got 'brass pollution' (non-9mm mixed in) but that's a different issue). Our collator doesn't like moving the primers in so we have figured out a manual workaround. It's not the way you're supposed to do it, but "using a small diamond file" wasn't in the manual either. Seems like a bit of a design flaw if the solution is for the user to grind or file parts off or down. We're not hand fitting 1911s here. But the primer seating is also very unreliable (by very, I mean 1 in every 10-30 primers). Have you experimented with different brass and different primer brands?

    • @RobActiveShooterEngh

      Yup, if I didn't have the autodrive 1050 I'd process on the Revo before loading. I could do it all in one pass, but I like knowing that my brass is 100.perxeng ready to go for loading and only run into any possible problems like debris in cases, or what not, during the processing stage.
