I had a 1977 Oldsmobile Delta 88, white, 2 door, perfectly clean. It was the best car I had in this life so far. The most comfortable, quiet, smooth car I have driven. Too bad it was about 10mpg but worth it, I wish I still had it.

Had to ask a seller for my $ back after driving it 60 mi to his place when I was refused a smog...told him up front he didnt beleive me Reported 2 ads of aholes attempting to sell their father/grandfathers car while they were in teh hospital. They were never for sale, got some stupid story when subject of paperwork came up....2 guys had NO idea these losers who probably changed their diapers at one time were ripping them off to get $ dope money with. 1 was just an entitled piece of chit who mooched off the damily he was in his 30s. Came within moments of getting robbed by 3 "homies" when i pulled up to a housein Palmdale to look at a Camaro. Only reason I drove out of there Ok was my appearance and the fact I headed directly towards 2 of them immediately knowing what was coming. Thugs dont expect that. Simply got lucky . There was a camaro for sale but I bet it was stolen..and wasnt for sale. Sure miss the days when you just picked up a Recylcler at 7-11 early every Thursday...all car guys knew who was who, who sold Mopars Chevys parts etc.

THe Super 8 and bug may be worth considering. Bug ovepriced but what isnt? Others are pretty much parts cars, none worth 1000 to me. Anyone who believes original mileage on old cars like this....got a bridge for sale! Keep the vids coming. Bug would be the perfect round town errand car for me being retired Still cool cheap to keep, no worries about overheating and great mpg.

The ‘54 Buick Special might be worth the price of admission even with all the rust. Other than that, not much of a market for ratted and rusty more doors. At least not where I live.

I have thought about getting an old car or truck to fix up, but It would interfere with my shop time and all my other activities. And would have to build a building to keep it inside. Have a friend with about a dozen old cars, he is busy with them every day. Problem is as the baby boomers die off, no one cares about these old cars.

Wouldn't give you a dime for 90% of these vehicles. Where do these sellers get their asking prices? Especially like the Cadillac with the "Flintstone" floors, and the 18 feet of rust, and an engine compartment full of rust, dust, and spider webs, and only asking $7500! Your rusted out, non running, ragged interior 4 door does not qualify as a classic muscle car either!
