Thanks man! If you talk about that cracking sounds, they are generated in patch. I use some gates from logic module to ping a band-pass filter (liquid filter from audible instr.) and modulate both cutoff and resonance. Then audio goes to Clouds for that granular processing, and in the end I soften it with another band-pass, Feline. Also, there is very quiet sound of rain in background, it comes from the sample on separate channel.

@@dedcosmonaut cool, thanks for replying. I like to use filter pings too, it's one of my favourite techniques! I've always thought that VCV lacked a decent sampler, so I brought Pigments for resampling patches. It's a good way to make new sounds.

@@VirtualModular I use samplers very rarely, and usually only like a playback machine, so standart vcv library stuff is alright for me. Here I used some simple Voxglitch sampler

@@dedcosmonaut yeah I don't use samplers in VCV much, but I've been sampling patches to use in other software. It's a good way to make your own sample libraries 😉

I added the link to patchstorage in the description. Nevertheless, I strongly suggest you to try build this patch from the ground up first. Would be much more educational.

@@dedcosmonaut Yes, building a patch yourself isn't a problem - when it comes to modules and cables. Sometimes the problem is the precise positioning of knobs and sliders. As for your patch - I missed the comment about the delay time setting and I had a lot of trouble with it - well, it didn't sound like it should. Thanks!

@@mpingo91 experimenting is a key. I also spent some time to finding a right spot for delay time, but for a different melody it may didn't work. Keep that in mind. Happy sound exploration
