my case didn’t have an odd and weird machinery markings. the edges are very sharp close to how the old kbdfans tofu cases are. i do enjoy the thicker side bezels which is different from the tofu. overall the color and machinery turned out nice for my order 🙂

I have 2. It is very well machined and the finish is actually decent. BUT the aluminum used it cheap, it PINGS out of control and even a silicone pour for me didn't fix the ping. You have to foam it and mount on orings for a chance to get rid of the ping and hollowness. You can hear it clearly in the video and the mods are horrible. Looks okay as a desk piece, but as a tray mount goes, I'd spend a tiny bit more and just get a Tofu 2.0 or Tofu Redux.

you will have to get the solder pcb for iso layout unfortunately. the hotswap is ansi only

@@shusui9665 any keycap set should work! check out on the mode website to see the layouts and make sure you have the correct keycap size for things like alt and ctrl 🙂

hello! you can change it using via. as of right now i believe you need to download the json file from the qk guide. import json in via then it will recognize the board and there will be a lighting tab. i don’t know the keys off the top of my head to change the rgb from the board

you might want to check the screws to make sure they are all tight (but not too tight). it shouldn't be moving at all

i believe they use the same pcb unless it is hotswap then i think it is per key. but i would double check the specs for the prebuilt version

yes it is and i’ve since then already swapped them out for some boba u4s and i lube all my switches now. this was my first build ever so i didn’t know about lubing and more focused on learning how to build a board 🙂

hello! i'm not sure why that is happening unfortunately. i was able to connect mines with my mac. i would suggest asking in the kbdfans discord to see if anyone can help you!

i’ve already swapped them out with some boba u4s :p honestly didn’t know much about switches compared to what i wanted to build and it was cheap back then! but ever since then i’ve added o-rings and replaced the switches. i plan to swap the plate too honestly haha

yes i did. it was ticking a bit so i used some surgical tape and wrapped it around the end of the wires and no more ticks! i avoided lubing the end and just applied only on the 90 degree angle of the wires

i believe bc of the way the plate is clipped it’s hard to o ring it and yes it’s 5 pin

@@kabes1776 i think its possible. there are stand offs on the case so you can use those points for the o-ring

@@kabes1776 it doesn't come with a cable but you can get a usb-c cable on aliexpress where this kit is from or from amazon, kbdfans, etc

o no i'm not sure the pcb might have been damaged so I would suggest contacting kbdfans to see if they can help u with that

this was my first ever build so take everything i do with a grain of salt and its also preference! I'm already upgrading this with some bobas

hi! the kit came with everything BUT switches and key caps. i bought screw in stabs bc i saw some comments about how the clip on kit ones were bad so i swapped them out.

hi, i bought the gmk screw in stabs from kbdfans and it came with 7 2U, 1 6.25U, and 1 7U

i think you should reach out to KBDfans to see if they can send you some for free bc each case should have them and extras

personally for me i’ve used it for a whole day of work AND gaming with the rgb on it does have some warm at the bottom but i wouldn’t say it is concerning

i’ve thought about it! but not sure if that’s something i want to do o:

if you download the via software u can control all the rgb settings but if u hold down fn and Q it turns it off and the other keys on that same row does brightness, patterns, saturation, etc
